jason cTo be guaranteed a truck, we had to go over 60 miles to pick up a truck which costs us money and time. This is the most frustrating thing about UHaul. Especially since we have a location right in our town!

CHRISTINE WDon't tell a customer setting up a reservation that you "have no idea if any trucks will come in, you may have to drive up to 2 hours to get a truck. We won't know until the last minute."

Marco JProvide a laminated sheet of features of the vehicle. For example, it was a couple of days before I noticed that the rear view mirror had a camera in it. I was focused on the side mirrors when backing out. A feature like that would be good to know BEFORE I go on the road.
William TU-Haul is impossible to contact on the phone - over 30 minutes on hold. You can get to live chat if you scroll to the bottom of the website and open 'contact' - not an obvious link like customer friendly web sites. U-haul customer support was pretty horrible from corporate. Local folks were great.

Tamara LLocation was closed on Sunday - which I expected. Online return was a pain as I had trouble with my phone sharing the location, and was unable to continue with the return until I could figure that out. The "self return" process ended up taking me over half an hour.
