This has absolutely nothing to do with the truck or the Rental Pick-up Location -- as, they were wonderful. The reservation system at Uhaul, when ordering 'Extras," such as boxes or blankets, is flawed. I was given no other option than to have the items shipped to my residence. Which is odd, due to the fact that the site stated they could only be picked-up at the state street address. So, not only was I charged for the items, as well as the shipping, I had to repurchase the items in-town. Now, I am out that money, as I am moving away from the address that they have been shipped to.Maria P.

The truck was dirty. I rented a 15' truck but was called and I was downsized to a 10' so I was left with having to rent another storage unit for the extra furniture. And now I have to take another trip up North and will have to spend more money in renting a trailer. I'm not very happy with Uhaul.LISA W.

The self check in process was a nightmare. Had to call customer service multiple times, only to be hung up on twice. Didn't have enough blankets that we ordered, and paid for a dolly but no dolly was provided. I during the check back in process I tried to explain that, but have heard nothing back. Also accidentally put more gas in than was in the tank when we picked it up, so it would only make sense we be compensated for that. You rack up enough cash from us with the mileage charge. Very dissatisfied, will be looking for other options than Uhaul in the future.Nathan K.

We ordered two dozen pads and a furniture dolly but they were not with the vehicle. The location was closed. We drove the truck the other side of town to another U-Haul location that was supposed to be open but they were also closed. We had to move without any pads or dolly.Paul K.

Truck wasn't clean, had to ask for the dolly and load it up myself, fuel was nearly on empty and I had to drive it from Santa Barbara back home to Ventura. I was annoyed to begin with when neither the date nor location for the vehicle I reserved was available and I had to go an hour out of my way to retrieve it - but that part wasn't AAMCO's fault.Eric F.

I was over charged. I had rented a Uhaul pickup from the company owned store on Hollister Ave. On the same day (early morning), and when that store didn't have a pickup for me to rent in the afternoon, I tried the AAMCO Transmission place. First of all, on the phone they said they had a pickup (acutually 3 of them), available. When I arrived to rent it all they had were larger vans. Then when I returned the truck after using it, I was charged OVER the amount on the propsted amount. This was after driving locally only 29 miles and putting in more gas than it had when I picked it up. I will never go to the AAMCO place again. The company owned location is well managed and honest in their dealings, I can't say that about AAMCO.DAVID L.

The reservation person was absolutely excellent...knew the product, reservation system, and was exceptionally friendly.JOHN K.
I reserved several items including furniture pads and a dolly and the truck didn't have any of these items, which made moving very challenging. We had to use blankets and bed sheets to protect our furniture. I was also incorrectly charged for 162 miles when I only drove 17 (this is $185 difference). I called representatives three times, sent them photos of the starting mileage three times, and spent nearly 4 hours on the phone trying to get a refund because they still charged me despite promising that my issue had been resolved. This was an exhausting experience dealing with customer service, and made my move and the aftermath super stressful. I recommend recording every conversation you have a with a customer online so that a future representative can see the last conversation.Haley K.
