The location was hard to find , No#1! Had to call owner for directions several times and was located in kind of an out of the way location next to a cemetery! From a weird side road! GPS took me to 2 wrong locations until I called! This was just for the drop off! Oh my goodness!

The truck overall was acceptable, but they just assumed the truck was 5/8s full but when I got in to take it it was under half which I thought was a bit ridiculous.

David Gi WAS TOLD THEY WERE OPEN TILL 7PM. WHEN I SHOWED UP, THE PLACE WAS DARK, SO I UNHOOKED AND LEFT THE TRAILER. THEY CALLED THE NEXT DAY AND ASKED WHY I DIDNT KNOCK. SAID THEY WOULD HAVE TURNED THE LIGHTS ON.

KIRA SPick up location was 2 hours away from my requested pick up address box of truck not swept dirty fueled up to where it was on pick up and my receipt shows that it was short then also billed for extra day there was no one at location at 3:00 am to drop of at this location no direction of where to drop truck or keys off during closed hours

Will WI phoned to extend my rental by 2 days .we were very sick with the flu . We stayed at a motel about 10km away from drop off .They reported it stolen a.d sent the police to pick it up..we were well under our kms .truck filled and clean..just heartless

Corrina FEngine light on, gas cap? An hour away from my location. One customer ahead of me that took 50min. 40 min to process me plus another hour back to my location. Total 3.5 hr plus the same for my chase driver, so SEVEN HOURS of time lost out of our day plus $30 gas for chase and $50 for truck. Note: I only spent $15 for actual move! My quote went from $101.00 Plus carts to over $500 plus carts, that got straightened out. Location was dirty, cats on desk lounging where paperwork is signed.GOOD THING I'M NOT ALERGIC. More things but I'm tired of this. It would be nice if you could call me at 403 550 3513 Peter

Jason GWe called a Red Deer location a week in advance and were told they would call us on the pick up day to let us know which location our rental would be at. We didn’t receive a phone call so I called back only to be told they didn’t have a record of us renting anything. We then had to get a rental in Rocky which ended up costing us more money in mileage and a bigger truck. The check engine light was on so we questioned it. The lady told us to add some oil and it would be fine even though the light stayed on. By the time we finally got to our destination the people we had payed to help us move had to leave which again put us out even more money. One final thing to top it off is when we returned the uhaul my husband was bit by one of the dogs they had there, which proceeded to go after him until the owner finally got control of it. So the whole experience was an absolute shit show.

Francois C1 - Safety chain hooks were useless, they were no where near big enough to properly grab ANY safety chain holes on any hitch on any pickup I've ever driven. Also they were not gated/locking. I will be checking local regulations, but I am fairly sure that most jurisdictions in Canada require safety chains to be latching or locking (hooks with latches or gates). 2 - Address was wrong, this location is not at the junction of sec Hwy 598 & RR71 (which actually has 2 intersections - the highway deflects 1 mile creating essentially 2- 598/RR71 intersections). They are actually located aprox 1km south of the SOUTH junction. 3 - A&A auto salvage Rocky Mountain House - when searched on Google maps or other navigation services shows their location as WEST of highway 11 - opposite direction (since the address in electronic documentation provided by U-haul is not an active click able link, not that it would matter since address was inaccurate) AND they are actually named Action Towing & Storage if anyone not from the area wants to use this location for pickup or dropoff, having the correct business name helps ALOT.
Graham SU Haul needs to update its Google maps locations. Both pickup and drop off locations are wrong on Goole maps. For Rocky Mountain House and Rimbey Alberta. Caused inconvenience

Marsie TMaybe get someone that’s knows what they are doing I was charged 110.25 for four days so for another four should of been the same amount because I asked when I phoned if the 110.25 included everything she said YES. So I get there they were going to charge me 180.25 I said not a chance I was quoted that. So I take it back today a way a gonna charge me 230. Plus tax or whatever I said no I am not paying that not a chance. Than a 170 I am livid I said 110.25 like before she was just a miserable old whatever I am not happy. The place itself is so I inviting go see for yourself it is a disgrace
shannon SI filled out a reservation form along with payment through visa choosing to not pay for the 10$ insurance and some 5$ additional charge. The renting company asserted that the form had “not come through on their end” and filled in a new one. When they processed the payment, it included the additional $15 charges. I was not pleased with this, since it seemed like a straight money grab.

GERDA GLady there is a thief! I rented a 6x12 trailer for 4 days got charged over 150.00 she calls me up 3 days into my rental demanding the trailer back at 8:30 am. According to her I rented the trailer for 1 day and she charged me 150.00 for 1 day. When did u haul start charging mileage for trailers? I want my money back for the day I didn't use the trailer! Please rectify this she is stealing money from your customers.

Ted GThis process was pretty unsatisfactory. We realized there is a disclaimer that says when making online reservations that there is a risk that what you want might not be available. However, being able to make an online reservation and pay a deposit for a service that your company had zero intention of following through with was pretty baffling. We discovered the depot we arranged pick up from wasn’t even open on the day of reservation, nor would they be able to accommodate trailer size. We are more than an hours drive from alternate locations. We only discovered this after we called ahead. We wouldn’t have been contacted by one of your representatives until the Night before according to your procedures. We wouldn’t have been able to move otherwise as it was on the long weekend and alternatives were no longer available. I don’t understand why an online booking is available if it has zero bearing on the ability to actually reserve a product. If I had been told from the outset that an alternate location was required I would have understood.
