The Monte vista location fucked us Said they had a trailer and didn't so we drive to Alamosa and then monte refused to take the trailer for drop off as well this shit show resulted in us drive-in an extra 120 mi! I hope I never need a U-Haul again because this is ridiculous that U-Haul Would even allow a location to accept a rental when they didn't have availablity much less allow them to refuse a drop off
Mitzi CWindshield and truck covered in Bugs, after completing the documents as asked for on line as requested before picking up the truck to make it quicker still had paperwork to do and the drop off location had been changed from what the completed on line paperwork said costing me about $200 more. I can’t believe anyone would rent a newer truck, 2023 version, without cruise control and no hands free options for a cross country trip is dangerous. The Penske trucks I have rented had both, unfortunately the nearest Penske rental was 2 hours away but will definitely spend the 4 hour round trip next time for what should be standard options or just do the Pod’s pack and pick up option.

NATHAN WThe truck was not available on the date it was reserved. Had to drive back 2 hours the next day to pick up. The truck reeked of marijuana. The dolly supposed to be with the truck was missing & the left rear view mirror would not stay in place. Kept sagging so constantly had to readjust. The woman who rented the vehicle was very courteous trying to get the vehicle returned so we could get it.

BEKZOD NNo one came out to help return the trailer, but it doesn't matter with the self-return feature. Super easy.
CORY CThe new location is convenient. The staff were very friendly. I changed my mind last minute and opted for a larger unit. The staff had no problem with that. Transaction was a breeze.
