when picked up one tire was almost flat, windshield was so dirty you had difficulty seeing through it and windshield washer only worked on passenger side,when driving truck had a terrible wind noise from the passenger doors door or window gasket, at around 40 mile per hour truck would viberrate and shakeKenneth B.

Location was convenient. Parking lot needs work. Truck was received not fully fueled and pickup ticket was not accurately marked. Guesstimating how much fuel I used should not be part of rental experience.Edwin K.

although the UHaul did not break down, they did not have what we had ordered available so i ended up having to leave my recliner at home, and it was dirty in the inside. and also i moved from IL-AZ and the air conditioning stopped working when we got to AZ.Ashlee F.

Be aware and familiar with all of the UHaul locations and whether, or not, the pickup and return location is staffed or even closed when the UHaul is picked up and/or returned.joy F.
Access to vehicle was good but wasted an hour just getting truck due to return location and mix ups here and there but either way, my articles are moved. I may go with Penske next time due to cost and unlimited miles for the usage of their vehiclepeter S.

I tried using the Jefferson St Peoria location and it was a joke. Completely mismanaged. I called the Chillicothe Uhaul and enjoyed a perfect transaction. I could not have been helped any better.gary C.

The pavement of the lot was awful at the return place. Also both entrances to the area were blocked off. One w/ a gate & one with heavy metal cones which we moved enough to drive in. I couldn't get the â€œreturn truckâ€ to work on the internet. So I/we took pictures of everything. I called U-Haul and told them my situation. She said she would email the place's owner, to leave my keys & the vehicle. I called the drop off the next day. Lady very polite. They were checking the vehicle then. About 10 mins later, I got Final receipt via email. It all worked out. Uhaul's reservation online appears simple but I ended up having to call because I ended up with incorrect reservations. The customer service person on March 1st was like, you should just call, we can set it up for you & give tell you all the fine print. The fellow who called on 3/9 to arrange pickup was very polite & helpful. Even checked otherplaces that would be more convenient for my family to pick & drop off! Nice fellow! U-Haul's official video for returning the vehicle was misleading. I watched it twice and even took notes so I knew what pics to take & how to do it after a long moving day. However, I couldnt reach the screen via logging into my acct via the internet on my smartphone. I think they left out the portion that u need to download their App. U-Haul might want to include that in their video for us older generations. Otherwise everything else (hiring movers via U-Haul) went great.Juli B.

It is worth a trip into Peoria if you want anything besides the truck. Just a side business in this location.Larry S.
The only issue I had, had nothing to do with the equipment or service, but rather your entryway to your parking lot. As I was trying to enter the lot to return the truck, I wound up hitting one of those "barricade" posts sitting on the right-hand side of the entrance. It got knocked over and dragged part way, under the right-rear tires. As a result the pole on this barricade got bent. I'm really perplexed as to the reason those are even there. No offense, but it's sorta'...silly? I mean, if you can drive around them? Thanks so much for being good people to deal with. I will very likely be using your trucks again. Pick up and drop off locations were great and the truck was awesome!!! The only that stinks is that customer service kept getting the pick up and drop locations and times messed up, while I had my 26 ft. truck another location besides my pick up and drop off called me and told me I had a reservation to pick up a 10 ft. truck that day, very very unorganized. After a few phone calls I did get it worked out.Sarah H.

The drop off location is in an old Ford dealership building and not marked. There was a gate across one entrance and pylons blocking the second entrance. We thought the place was vacant from the looks of things except there were cars in the parking lot. We pulled over and called the contact number on the rental Agreement form and it went to some other company, i.e., not AC Gentrol. We then did a web search and found a different number, called that and received directions of how to enter the facility so we could drop the vehicle off. Once linked up with the staff at this site, we were handled very professionally and everything went well. You need to update your records to reflect an accurate telephone number for this site and insure it's posted clearly that the location is a U-Haul drop site...Lonnie V.

Uhaul sent me 20 miles to pickup when I had scheduled a pickup 3 miles from my house. Everything else was fine. The rental place looks pretty dumpy but they were ok. Just a little miffed at pickup location being changed.John W.

The only problem I had was that I ordered 2 dozen pads ahead of time. After doing the paperwork checked the back of the truck to make sure I had the pads there were none. I went back into the office and the gentleman that was helping me met me at the door with 18 pads he said that he could not find 6 more. He said he would credit me the 6 I was charged for. In all fairness, my displeasure was not caused by this location specifically. We had numerous problems with the reservations at the locations we had originally been scheduled for and were passed around numerous times until a trailer was secured at this location. Our reservation was dumped on this location after hours on the day our original reservation was made for.Andrew R.

The E85 fuel is a problem, with limited filling options in Illinois. Otherwise, I can suggest nothing else. It was good service. Keri (sp?) was terrific at service.JOHN F.
