I had a terrible experience with Uhaul. I had a reservation time and location set up. When we arrived to pick up the truck we were told that there was nothing available for us. This was no fault of the pick up location, simply U-Haul's fault. This put us behind schedule and ultimately ended up costing me a couple extra hundred dollars as I had movers waiting. Very disappointing to say the least.

We checked my truck and had power at the plug point. He issued me a warning ticket and I drove the last 109 miles with my four way flashers. Not real happy

STERLING WWhen I went to pick up the trailer a tire was really low. They filled it up with air, and away I went. Well, I had to put air in it in Sioux Falls, Omaha, and again in St. Joseph Missouri. Your customer service department was a great help lining up a tire repair business to replace the tire!

JUAN DUltimately, SERVICE was good. BUT, AVAILABILITY of equipment left a LOT to be desired. I think they had ONE trailer total to rent out. We wanted a trailer, when our RV broke down, and we had to load our items to be brought home, 140 miles away. We had a jeep to pull a trailer, and with a HUGE tow bill ahead, really didn't need to spend TRIPLE the amount on a TRUCK. We needed to continue home as we had two dogs with us. We ended up renting a truck and paying triple the cost for a trailer. ALSO, we got the truck with an 1/8th tank of gas, and filled it up so we could get home. The truck only used a quarter tank of gas. Over $300.00 later, plus a tank of gas, when we could have gotten by for less than $70.00 and no gas if a trailer had been available.

David WI had ordered moving equipment (dollies, moving pads) and did not receive them. I did speak with the rental desk at the store and they seemed sincere in their apologies for not seeing the extra equipment. I was able to get a refund, so not holding it against them.
Tracey HIt all started with using the 24/7 on line app to rent this truck, so I could pick it up at 8:00am before the store opened. We arrived at 8:00 am to pick it up and we started the online pickup process that took over 25 minutes for our reference people to be called and confirmed. My wife eventually called the service line to help expedite the process. The phone contact that my wife finally was connected to, helped us out. We located the key for the truck that was in the return key box. This location doesn’t have a pickup key box. We finally got a key for the truck and started the truck, and it would not stay running. Finally the lady that my wife spoke to contacted the store and a rep came out, to help us with no avail. He told me that he only had a 15’ truck available, so we took it. This location only had 9 blankets for us, when we requested 12 and paid for 12. The 15 foot truck they put me in had less than an 1/8 of a tank of gas.. I had to stop immediately to get gas before I ran out. We were not able to get everything moved because of the smaller truck they supplied me with. When I returned it, they would not help me out with any discount at all for the wrong size of truck and shorting me on 3 blankets, and no fuel. I would not recommend this location or UHaul to anyone!
