I really can't rate this location as I didn't make it to the front door. I'm assuming it was the desk person that met stopped me in the truck I was dropping off yelled at me to move because I was in the parking spot he was going to put a bigger truck. Their front parking area only has a couple of parking spots hand were full of U-Haul trucks, he had me park on the side. he come up to me asked for the keys stated that he will get the truck signed in and that I can leave as he had someone waiting. I'm thankful that the truck was checked in and that I wasn't getting jacked by someone. He did get out of another truck but I was wondering. I was hoping to get something in writing that stated that I dropped it off at the delivery location. I should have just kept with our original plan and drop it off at our local Uhaul location.

This facility is still looking brand new like the day I moved in ten years ago, so well kept and with very reasonable pricing. I was very satisfied with the entire process. Bela BWe reserved the truck and trailer for a Reno/Sparks location. We ended up driving 50 miles one way to pick up our “reserved” truck and trailer. We received a call from the Corporate Regional Rep., Anna, who was completely void of any empathy for our situation. She kept “over talking” while I was attempting to explain that we driving over 700 miles, and in route, to pick up the truck and how we would have to drive another 100 miles round trip just to start our moving. I had to almost yell at her to “stop talking and listen”! I would have to be desperate to use U-Haul ever again! This is not a reflection of the personal at the Dayton location. During pickup they were trying to charge me 100$ more then what was quoted on the phone plus they said they would give me 65 miles instead of 45 due to having to go to another location for pickup and they didn’t. They charged me for the extra miles. Not happy on of this is the locations fault gentleman there was very helpful

mark fTrue and accurate information, not to have the original order canceled and get a email saying you’re picking up a different location 80 miles away. And not willing to compensate you a whole heck of a lot. Horrible experience this time around with uhaul, and would not recommend uhaul at this time to anyone.

The 800Uhaul number had told me to take truck there and emailed me proof so I showed the person at location the email. Odometer wasn't right so i could not self return. The guy at the location said he would handle everything for me.

ron bI selected "yes" for the equipment but the car dolly had a non-functioning light. The dealer there was outstanding, but he had to call corporate support and find another car dolly in the area. The additional time to go to another location and process for a similar item was a little annoying.

James GWhen I went to drop off the truck in Dayton. The gentlmen had to call Uhaul to check in the truck, it took 10min at least. People flirting with each other, talking and having a good old time, when all I wanted to do is get check in and go. I had to go to Hawthorne NV, afterwards. And all the guy in Dayton could tell me, is the girl on the phone is a looker.!.!???? F..... Really I am trying to go home and this is the crap I have to deal with.
steven tThe problem I had was halfway through my trip the engine light came on and all the gauges were normal. I didn't realize until the truck was dropped off that it was so low on oil and possibly other problem(s). Ken at Ace Mini storage was very professional and I don't know if the problem was from the U-Haul in Reno or Carson City.
gary kAlthough it wasn't this locations fault, I had to drive 45 miles here to pick up a truck that I was supposed to pick up just 5 miles from my house! I reserved a truck a week earlier only to find that they did not get the truck I reserved as promised.

Danette HWe had reserved truck in lodi ca, had to go to elk grove ca to pick it up. We had reserved a storage at the uhaul center in carson city, which was part of the reason we did truck rental with uhaul was free month storage. When we arrived they had nothing bigger than a 5x10, we had reserved a 10x20 for the 26 foot truck. Had to go 17 miles out of the way and pay for storage unit at your dealer. Overall not happy with whole thing but these 2 locations had nothing to do with that part

Jose GThe man who checked us in was disrespectful, sexist, and a complete disappointment. We had met so many nice, friendly people until we met him. He even told my son- in-law to come back up the trailer because these women don't know what they are doing. My husband who usually backs up the trailers was quite ill and couldn't be there. A very nice man who was storing his 5th wheel there offered to back it up for us.
Linda TManager at location was prepared and very efficient so I don't have a problem with him. I am NOT happy that U-Haul isn't willing to bring equipment to the location I requested - which is only a few blocks from my home. Instead, I had to find a ride to this location (10 miles from my home). Why doesn't U-Haul provide a service where they can shuttle equipment to the location a customer requests????
Michael WI needed a 10' moving truck asap. This location gave me a 15 ' at the smaller price! Equipment was well maintained and the staff was awesome. I would definitely use Ace again.

CHAD PThe gentleman that helped us didn't seem to know how to use the equipment rental program. He had to ask us for our information multiple times I suspect because he didn't know how to properly save and continue through the screens. He needs more training. It took us over 40 min to pick up the rental, I would expect something like that to take roughly 5-10, 15 max. The rental had sand all over the floor inside, it should have been swept out before giving it to us. We didn't bring up the sand because we didn't want to waste more time trying to get out of there.

GAYLEN SGet knowledgeable representatives. I Had a $50 VIP credit....your represnatitive said he didn't know where that goes, so didn't apply it to my rental fee. Then when we get to our drop off location, we find out the trailer was not correctly installed onto out vehicle. Mike Zendrjas, GM of Medford UHaul (541/779-3321) can verify that. He seemed pretty frustrated with the renting agent as well. Amazing how you want your rentals returned swept and cleaned but you do not rent them that way!! Moving is enough of a pain!!! Don't need added frustration!!!
