I was very well taken care of here, I was completely comfortable having my things stored here. When I moved in, I was conveniently able to leave the Uhaul truck there. Everything was always clean, even after 2 hurricanes! The area and the buildings are very easy to access. When I moved out of the unit, none of my things were dirty or ruined. The staff are super friendly and helpful. I definitely recommend this location for your storage needs!

we rented our first u haul truck there , was a pleasant experience , the clerk explained everything to us , an tried to get the 10 truck to her location but the day before pick up we were called from u haul as to where to pick up the truck , which we knew was a possibility , 2nd location on s Florida Ave ppl were pleasant helpful an made us confident in the rental agreement , we arrived earlier than the rental time but we were greeted with a warm reception filled out the paper an went merrily on our way !! which was a pleasant experience, which is all we wanted!!! but the ST Pete was an embarrassing situation feeling that we were not important to them, their whole work environment had a tension in the air amongst the clerks at the ST Petersburg u haul depot!!

We reserved a trailer online, we couldn’t get the one we originally wanted because none was available. We get there and the one we reserved wasn’t back and then they end up having the one we originally wanted there. I just wished the original product was available for when I went to make the reservation in the first place.

The two gentleman that were in the office ( I think were the owners, father and son), were extremely nice to me. They were patient, helpful and kind to me as this was my first experience with U-Haul. They knocked some money off the bill because they saw I was paying too much for what I needed it for. I really appreciated their help. I would recommend them to anyone.

I would HIGHLY recommend this location to anyone in need of a moving truck, trailer or supplies. My experience was extremely pleasant! The office smells absolutely AMAZING! I legit thought it was brand new! Nope, he’s been renting equipment from this location for years! My reservation was ready and waiting on me. No wait! No worries! My return was just as amazing… even in the rain! I’m extremely impressed by this location and will make it my preferred store when I have the need to rent a truck, trailer or purchase moving supplies. Thank you for the great experience!

I am so glad I have this place to store my belongings! It’s right down the street from where I’m staying, so it’s super convenient for me. I was greeted so nicely when I walked in and my check in was so easy. Lucky for me, my unit is close to an exit door, so move in was super easy. The best part is, I didn’t have to take the truck anywhere else to return it because I could just leave it there! My truck was checked in immediately by the manager and my move was complete. Highly recommend this location for truck rentals and storage!

Please ignore my previous review, as it was for a different U-Haul location. The folks at Acorn Mini Storage were prefect. The equipment was in great shape and the service was absolutely top notch. I was able to get in and out in a timely manner. This was a very positive experience, especially after a bad experience at the U-Haul located at 2525 Hwy 98N. The equipment that other location that I rented at the Hwy 98 Location was dirty, full of stones and the people were certainly not friendly.

Hands down, THE BEST U-haul location that I've ever had the pleasure of using. Their customer service is impeccable, they are polite, friendly, and wonderfully helpful. The whole experience was great from beginning to end. Having used Acorn Moving and Storage several times in the past has spoiled me when it comes to renting a U-haul vehicle. Occasionally they don't have what I need on site, which sadly forces me to go to a different location, which is a big downgrade. These guys could teach other locations how to impress their customers! Well done guys!!

We rented the first week your facility opened and everyone has been wonderful. We downsized spaces twice as we worked on downsizing our belongings after our move and each time Lisa would find us an easy space to make the move within the facility. I was so impressed right out of the gate by Lisa and the guys! Right from the bginning, Lisa called me to let me know she had received the reservation. So helpful and above and beyond. Most of the time you simply get the automated confirmation response (which I did receive), but Lisa called and that helped make our whole move less worrisome because I felt I had someone looking out for us! Then upon arrival, Lisa went above and beyond again to make sure we got the best deal possible both for the rental time and when it was time, getting us a truck to move out! Simply put, Lisa and the guys were so helpful and friendly, we felt like we were apart of some Acorn Mini Storage family! It was obvious this team enjoys working there and they love their owners. They all made comments about it being the best place to work! So kudos to the owners for being awesome! The facility is brand new and very well maintained! The team working there takes pride in the cleanliness and keeping things in order! When you're in a huge transition such as we were, there is a lot on your plate that can be a huge hassle. Lisa and the guys with Acorn Mini Storage took that hassle away and made that leg of the transition very smooth! I loved working with this facility and the team there! 🙂

Spotless storage and friendly staff. Very helpful and tell you all you need to know about access to your storage unit. I would recommend it if you are looking for a storage place. The units are very easy to access and even have carts for you to use. We used climate control and we were so pleased. Did not have to worry about our stuff getting ruined or infested with something. Don't look elsewhere in Lakeland Acorn Mini Storage is the best.
