This is the first time ever renting. Business not very experienced renting. Took over a half hour to enter information and get truck. I knew nothing about the process having never done this before. The truck itself was okay. There was a thick film on the inside of the front windshield and the sun was shining making it hard to see. The truck itself sounded like it wanted to fall apart, again not having this experience before I’m not sure if that’s how it is supposed to sound or feel like when driving. Returning the truck wasn’t as long of a process. I was kind of surprised at the price with all the different fees added on. Overall an okay experience and would rent again if needed in the future.

The best thing they can do is train their employees on what to do when someone comes in to pick up a truck. The gentleman that helped us was very kind and friendly, but had no idea what to do. We ended up doing it ourselves online. Nice little store, but we spent way too much time there trying to get our truck.

No issues with pick up location at all but U-Haul's online customer service department is a nightmare. They called after I received a reservation confirmation and told me that I may not be eligible because the rentals are one way only and I just wanted to use it locally and return it to the same location. This issue has happened with U-Haul and myself in the past and it's frustrating and unnecessary. Please get your (800) somewhat user friendly for local rentals.
