You should put a better locking system on the back latch. Almost lost part of my load as the door bounced open. Had to use bale string to keep it locked.

The truck had some empty chip wrappers and napkins in it, as well as being dusty and the floor had mud on it. The stock trailer had manure splattered on the floor and walls. Aren't stock trailers supposed to be disinfected between users?

attendant told me that i would be charged a 20 dollar surcharge if I was to return it thru him which was nice of him. I returned it thru the app during daytime business hours and yet i WAS STILL charged a 20 dollar fee. this will be the last time i use uhaul.

Only negative experience was the over all cost of the unit. Advertising $19.95 per day for a truck is very misleading. I used the truck for a total of 3 hours. I only needed to do a few errands around town. All said and done with taxes the cost was in excess of $100.00 dollars. I found this very misleading and will not rent again. Very disappointed in what I would refer to as misleading advertising. For future requirements I will rent from a major automobile rental agency.

They wanted to charge me 43$ to put in a little more gas so I said no and I drove it legit 200 feet away to a gas station put 15$ in and it was full, then when I picked up the uhaul at regent location they said I had 253 miles more then enough to get me their, just to find out no I only had 253 km and they charged me another 7$ when I had more gas in then I was suppose to they wouldn’t just let say where even, just a money grab felt like they where taking advantage of me, will never deal with that location again don’t care about their customer only their money. Super helpful. Needed a 2" ball. They got an impact wrench and got the old rusted one off. Fantastic. Got me on the road!!!!

Clean interior and exterior, ensure oil change is completed, reset fuel levels to full ahead of picking up. Truck did not have cruise control, which is absolutely ludicrous! These are long haul vehicles, there is absolutely no excuse to spec these vehicles from manufacturers without cruise control!!

They close at 4:00 on Saturday which was a surprise but the drop box was easy to find and there was lots of room to park it.

I booked a 15 ft truck, a furniture dolly and 12 blankets. When I arrived to pick up the truck It was available but I was advised that there was no dolly available and only 6 blankets. My entire moving plan was dependent upon having the dolly and the 12 mats and as a result I had to make alternative arrangements to get extra help at the last minute. This is unacceptable. The truck interior was dirty the box had not been swept out. The body was rusted out below the drivers door. U HAUL MUST HONOUR ITS COMMITMENTS!

I booked a 26ft truck the week before my move only to have it pulled from my location by Uhaul and be put into a 15ft last minute which than cost me $88.51 in distance charge. The whole thing was a mess from start to finish. The spelled my name wrong, had incorrect telephone number for myself. I was told by the lady on the phone at advantage that I could just pay Monday morning with debit or cash as I did not want my credit card charges she said that was fine. When my bf went to pick up the truck they wanted a credit card number when I then spoke to them I had somebody different that told me they need some form of payments now. If I would have known that I would have sent cash or my debit card (my credit card had expired and I had received a new one that I hadn’t activated yet) to pay then. So my bf has to give his credit card which I did not want. Upon return and payment my bill came out to $148.56 with $85.51 being distance charge! And why I had booked the large truck knowing how much I had to move then get put into a smaller truck only to have to make more trips (my time and my money). When I asked at advantage about being discounted I was shrugged off with contact Uhaul. I then had to spend more time in the phone for 45 minutes. I was told that I would be reimbursed $50. When I asked how Jessica said it would be put back into the credit card, so the credit card that was my boyfriends and that did not pay for the truck. I also had to give my address again, because when they took his credit card they put his address instead of mine into the act. I had to make sure my name and telephone number were correct because as previously mentioned they weren’t taken correctly. All of this needed to be done because I was now having a cheque mailed out which would take 4-5 weeks to arrive. How is exactly is this helpful? I have nothing good to say about this whole ordeal and would not recommend Uhaul to anyone

Excellent service and I rented the truck from this location earlier that day with great service and friendly atmosphere. Used my credit card with no difficulty whereas at the McPhillips location this same credit card was refused.

The truck i booked was a 26 footer, the day before im to pick it up (sat) i get an email saying only 15 footers available!!! I called other locations and all had everything from 26 footers down!!!! The truck i booked would have done everything in ONE trip!! 300 klms one way! Screwing me last minute meant another trip,,,Not only will i never rent anything from u-haul again,,i took the time to post the crappy service to social media..

the moving van was a US model with no KM's on dash. it was also very harshly sprung and uncomfortable to drive on uneven surfaces. glad I didn't need to make a long trip.

The only thing that was lacking was the online booking system. It was confused, because my pick up and drop off were the same point, so I ended up paying double when I picked up the trailer, because I was taking the trailer out of town. Also, for the dealer that was trying to fix that issue, because of the internet speeds in the US, it took him half an hour to actually process the rental agreement!! I wasn't upset, it wasn't his fault, just ridiculous! Having said that, the rep at the dealership was great and felt terrible that it took so long.

No cord to plug it in. Temp was -30 overnight and I was away from home. The unit started no problem so not a big deal. But I did wonder if it was going to start.

The hitch was loose and needs to be replaced it bounced a lot and we had the proper size hitch . the rims were all rusty so they could use paint as well to give people peace of mind to know the trailers are maintained

U-haul’s rental charges are very strange. Winnnipeg to Barrhead, AB was $1213. Brandon to Winnipeg to Barrhead was $300. Does this make sense?

Overall, the cargo van was clean inside but it smelled badly of body odour from the previous users. It was a cold evening when I moved, but I had to keep the window open because the small was so bad. Consider airing out vehicles prior to renting or use Febreeze or other odor-ridding products.

I asked 2 weeks before the pickup date a 5x8 trailer from Winnipeg locations. The Arizona rep said that there will be a 5x8 waiting for me in Winnipeg. A week later another rep from Winnipeg location called me and warned that they don't have one in Winnipeg and I have to take one from Brandon, Mb. I asked for a discount(I was driving from Brandon to Winnipeg an empty trailer) she agreed for a $20 from regular $177. When I arrived in Brandon Mb the customer service rep was lied to me when I asked about the price, the discount that he offered was $10 instead of $20. Moreover he didn't help with hooking the trailer to my car. I used Uhaul 2 other times and I always got another hand with the connections from the people who rented the trailer.
