Great owner to work with for me, I was a walk in
NICOLAS LWhen I rented the truck I told them I needed it until April 25th. When I picked up the truck the date said the 24th. He said no problem I wouldn’t be charged any extra. Then of course I still dropped it off early the day it said the 24th and was charged an additional $40. I’ve wrote twice and sent proof of the contract and no one has reached out.

TIMOTHY WThe auto sales person that helped me get squared away forgot that he put my license into his drawer. I was thinking that it was standard protocol to do that and then return it once the U Haul is returned, and maybe that is the case. That being said, I got a voicemail from Craig saying that they still have my license and that they close at 2pm (I was using the U Haul on a Saturday). I do want to point out that I’m in the process of getting my license renewed so I have a paper copy of my new license but this would not have been an issue if I was able to pick up the u haul from the original Loves Park location that I had chosen (closes at 7pm), which is much closer to where I was moving out of. It’s a big inconvenience because I start my new job in a new city the same day that the auto sales place will next be open so now I have to figure out how to get my license back. I don’t plan on getting pulled over by the police but if something were to happen between now and when I can get my license back, I’m going to have to explain to the officer what had happened and that would be very unfortunate. I left a voicemail asking to get back to me to figure out an alternative plan, and hopefully someone can pick it up on my behalf but I’m just dumbfounded at the situation. At least let me know as I’m leaving so I can be prepared to account for the closing times. If it has to be me picking up the license, now I have to wait a whole week to get it back.
JESUS GThere was not anyone on location as it was closed. But it was very convient to be able to do everything online and still be able to drop the truck off Location was definitely not an expected location to be.
KASSANDRA SThe online method to have the keys ready was confusing. I didn't see anything at the site where that method was being utilized.
TOM DWhen a customer like myself returns the equipment early you could provide them with some form of a discount. I reserved a 4×8 trailer a month in advance .The day before I was scheduled to pick up trailer.they informed me they didn't have one and compted me with the next size larger which was nice but overkill for what I really needed.That being said their facilities need to honor reservations.

Anthony CThere was a crack in the windshield and the trolly & blankets I ordered weren’t in the truck. I called the day before to confirm my order and never heard back. I’ve never used this location before and I would NOT recommend it. I’ll stick to my old place.

GREGG EThe straps that hold the car to the trailer over the tires were to short for my vehicle. ( stock jeep rubicon). I had to use my own straps. It would be nice if someone would lubricant the ratchets and tighten the wheels . Check air in the tires?

RAED JI returned the truck with the correct amount of gas indicated on the receipt, infact more than I started with. I even explained to hom that it has the correct gas in it. Then i get the final bill with an $11 charge for gas. They did not answer the phone probably due to christmas eve. I need a refund for the gas! The place was easy to find, the person there just wasnt very friendly, and did not pay attention to any details.
BRAD SCharging a $1.19 a mile is high. It should be more in-line with corporate/government re-imbursement rates plus a small margin. A good number would be .72 per mile.

JANICE LIt was a bit confusing when I got there... One is a Used Car sales lot and "ACROSS" the street is a Uhaul "lot" and I was concerned about being charges with $ for parking at the wrong place so after dropping off, I ended up walked "ACROSS" the street to drop off the key.
JERRY LVery nice customer service even though the other location messed up my reservation, the owner/manager figured it out and got me on my way!

Jilly Mthe actual final dropoff was excellent , the first one was not . the lot was crowded and they wanted me to back the trailer when there was no room she send me to another location that shut down no longer in business , traffic sent me to a uhaul dealer and the refused to take the trailer, finally they found someone that was actually helpfull , advantage auto sales .
Ralph ADespite having a reservation, staff were not expecting me, did not know about my reservation, and could not print, or find my documents. This delayed my trip, by spending more time figuring out, what should have been already pre-arranged.

Sherry HCommunication was awful - got to place where pick up was “ suppose to be “ then told we had to go pick it up somewhere else’s. Got to that place and no one there , waited on phone 4 different times to get help , then had to drive back to other place to get lock box code? So we could get our truck . No one explained any of this to us before . Very unorganized and not helpful at all. Don’t recommend forest hills unhaul - oh and when we went to pick up truck they closed at 2 on a Saturday which we didn’t knows . Who closes at 2 on Saturday especially U-Haul place to pick up moving truck.

CHRISTINA WAn employee should be at the facility at the scheduled rental time. Scheduled time was 10, nobody there till 10:15.
Eric HI have always use this location, this time there was no truck when I got there as expected and no car hauler as expected. Waited over an hour for them to get a vehicle for me. I already had people that I paid to help load waiting for that hour. Then I was sent to the wrong location to drop it off. I went to the location that was texted to me and there was no one there and the gate was locked so I called you all and they sent me to Chattanooga. The next day I had a $630 charge for dropping it off at the wrong location after I was told to bring it there.
Gregory EThe app was ridiculously hard to use. Wouldn't let me acknowledge that I was there for my truck. I eventually had to call customer service and even then it took another 20 minutes to finally get the keys to the truck. I will never rent another Uhaul unless it's from a place where there are employees on site to get it. It was an overall miserable experience using the app.
