LEAR CThey sent me out with a truck with 3 bald tires which ended up with 2 of them blowing out. Could have been very bad(driving in heavy rain). Three hours later on the road-3 hours behind schedule and test of day sucked !!!!

David WIt would be helpful if, when asking make/ model of towing vehicle, that more info was given and/ or known. For instance, newer vehicles with backup cameras WILL NOT allow you to backup when a trailer is attached to the vehicle. The camera "sees the trailer" as a pending collision & the automatic brakes take over & lick up. We had to disconnect the + #850 lb trailer...and move it ..to get out of the driveway. I won't go into what this did to shoulders and back. If U-Haul needs to know what a person is driving, they should know a bit more than towing capacity ...disabling vehicle functions isn't something minor. .and certainly should've been known by a trailer rental place.

Chris KThe auto transport ratchet straps for the front wheels were rusted and I needed to get a different location to get them released and secured for me. Then the straps would be loose and have to be tightened about every 30 minutes on a 4 hour drive, that seemed excessive. This is a note about the equipment, not the location where it was located.

Jeff SFor some reason the cab of the truck was dirty and muddy. The fuel gauge said it was full, but driving the truck less than 10 miles. I refueled it before returning it and put 6.5 gallons of fuel in it so it wasn't full when I picked it up. Would have been ice if it has a hand truck like last time I rented one.
Jerry BI tried checking in on the app and then tried returning it on the app later that night. My location was not being recognized and I followed your steps to make sure my phone settings were correct but it still would not pick up my location. That was kind of frustrating especially turning it in after hours.
Jeff SUhaul needs an alignment. Steering wheel had to be held at an angle the entire trip and you guys were closed so no exchange could be made. Windshield wipers also in very poor condition. Very upsetting when you pay for quality equipment and receive very poor equipment.

THOMAS DThe parking was inadequate for the large trucks. It was hard to figure out the best place to park as most of the other trucks were just parked on the side of the road in the grass. There was nobody in the office when I got there but the online drop off was simple enough. I made sure to clean out and wipe down the inside of the cab and swept out the back of the cab to leave it cleaner then when I picked it up. I also made sure it was full when I dropped it off as a was weary of dropping it off at the fuel level I picked it up at. This cost me an extra $45 but I was afraid of getting charged more for dropping it off below full.

james aI took it upon myself to hook the unit up to my Jeep since the individual wasn’t able to assist getting the trailer hooked up which was no biggie. The main issue is when I hooked the unit up the left turn signal and some of the clearance lights were not working . Unit should be checked out thoroughly according to DOT. Next time I will refuse the unit and request replacement or go to a different location.

OSCAR GPicked up trailer it had a bent rim and damaged fenders. we were told to take it to house and call roadside assistance to fix. Did that and roadside assistance couldn’t get there for 4 hrs. Could not wait that long so was told to take to second location and trade it out they would call ahead... then showed up there and no one knew anything about me coming. So ended up waiting an additional 2 hrs at that location for replacement of tire and rim... then when we dropped off 2 hrs late was charged for being late. Very disappointed in service and conditions of trailer. The trailer should have never been rented in that condition not to mention the wait and aggravation of still loading and traveling. I would like a refund!!!!

Brad KI actually went to the wrong location in Victoria to turn in. The lady at the desk told me I was at the wrong place, but did not bother to tell me where the other location on the same street was. Told me to check my contract. At the right location, the rep could not have been nicer. Did not understand why the other location did not accept truck.
