LOVEJOY AU-Haul needs to allow for people to rent hourly from this location rather than just the option for the whole. The truck we used was less than 2 hours & a total of 6 miles round trip.

APRIL MTruck was dirty, windshield was dirty, he told me he knew I would go over my mileage and he said he would inform the office, I got to the office, I was 11 miles over... I was still charged.... Don't make promises or claims if you can't back it up.

JULIE SUHaul's One-Way logistics department needs to seriously consider their policies. I was confirmed to pick up the UHaul at 6:00AM and required to use counter services. But the location DID NOT OPEN UNTIL 9:00AM. I was on the phone with UHaul's customer service for 40min before the manager saw us on the phone and came down on his day off to help us pick up our UHaul truck. I am rating this as 5-stars because Tomas, the Advantage Storage Manager, was fantastic, going above and beyond to help us; and I do not want this review to hurt his business. But my opinion of UHaul's services is 1/5 stars. Incredibly poor logistical support.
Bryeson RI was told the truck had 1/4 tank and that’s what I needed to fill it to. First off, if that were true, it’s bad form to rent a truck to someone with only 1/4 tank. But in reality, the tank was completely empty and I had to take it straight to the gas station. That meant I had to return it with about $40 more gas than it initially had because the company was dishonest or negligent when they told me the initial fuel level.

Adam KCharged me for 2 days. I had it one day! Check engine light was on. The employee was not there when we got there. We had to wait about 40 minutes outside. He was very nice though.
Michelle OThe only thing I didn’t like is the worker said he has to do everything through his phone because you guys make it difficult to work through the computer. And the app on his phone was having difficulty. The worker was finally able to get the reservation going but it seems like U-Haul puts them in a disadvantage by making them use their phone instead of the computer

Michelle PI couldn't get the truck to work. The key would not turn. I tried for 3 hours to get someone to help me. It messed up my entire day for moving because I could to get the truck to wok.

Steven JFirst off the person that was working there was not trained. So what could have taken 10mins turned into 30min. Then the truck smelt like someone had smoked in it. So overall not happy with Uhaul.

Janis SI was given a vehicle that was filthy nasty it appear to have feces on the back of the vehicle because it was covered with bat flies and then I noticed that it looks like feces on the back of the cab the inside it was nasty filthy it was at a gas and if there was a check engine light in the vehicle ran terrible terrible me

Chris HThe Uhaul corporate website made it very challenging for the employee to enter my information and get me set up to check out a truck. He kept asking me for my information, entering it in the system, waiting for the page to load, getting timed out, and having to start over, asking me to give the information again and again. I finally had to write it down for him, and 4th time was a charm. Nice employees, though. And an otherwise painless experience.

Chris MThe lady was super awesome. She was totally DTF!! Truck had some paint from some previous idiot trying to paint over the uhaul decals. Other than that it was flawless. Fast too... vroom vroom....
RODNEY BThe only vehicle available had a bad odor inside the cab. The exterior of the vehicle had house paint dripped down the driver side. The online 24/7 mobile form of leasing is not very efficient yet. Webpages do not line up with instructions exactly.
Jarred LWhen I picked up the truck I reserved online and did the online check-in it asks you to check and verify the condition of the vehicle- either the previous renters lied and nobody at uhaul verified the condition of the vehicle before renting it again, they just waited for me to do that- OR uhaul doesn’t care if their vehicles are returned extremely dirty and they don’t bother cleaning it before letting another person/family use it (despite charging cleaning fees, which i disputed and wasn’t charged because I returned the truck in better condition than I picked it up in after removing the previous renters trash- yuck! and had photos to prove it). When I picked the truck up there was literally trash everywhere- like melted chocolates under the seats, empty drink bottles, cigarettes, used wet wipes and other food wrappers.. but the worst part was the sticky, disgusting spill that stretched from the passengers side floorboard ALL the way over to the driver’s side door. I had to lay trash bags down across the entire truck to try and avoid my belongings getting covered in... whatever it was that was spilled in there. spoiler alert, uhaul cabs are awkwardly shaped and laying trash bags down wasn’t as effective as i’d hoped- i’m still finding things with this gross substance smeared across them from having shifted around and off the bags while driving. you know, all the “personal” or important items one usually tucks in the cab for safe keeping. very, very unfortunate experience during an already highly stressful time.
Holly II got a call the day before that it may not be able to do contact less pick up cause reservations couldn't get ahold of the location. Then I called to make sure they had it ready and luckily they did as they said they'd call back once they knew and did not call so I called to make sure. So that was a bit of a inconvenience They also ended up needed me to provide someone's number to verify me which was odd as they stated nothing about this when I placed my reservation
