The staff member at affordable auto was the best uhaul representative I have ever dealt with. She was kind, extremely helpful, and went above and beyond what is expected. She alone will keep me a customer with uhaul. Please reward her for her hard work and superior service!

The truck was not clean and the mileage rate was too high. I moved locally, had truck for approximately 2 hrs and paid 80 something dollars.

Make sure unit is swept out. This unit had shingle grit in it. Also tail lights hook up did not work. Had to splice 3 wires that were pulled apart. Person helping me did not know anything about maintenance but he was a nice guy.

Let the shop do the maintenance. The people are excellent -helpful in anyway they could. the last truck rental was safe but it is going to need to need a new steer box- lots of play AT 95K MILES.

The equipment I reserved wasn't at the location. I had to settle for a trailer much larger and pay nearly twice as much as. I will never use uhaul again.

Make sure all equipment is accessible for customers the first time. Follow through on promises to credit for miles used to come back after hours and retrieve rental equipment that was previously unaccesible during initial pick up.

The location was closed, and I left the keys in a drop box, but everything worked out fine.

In picking the trailer up it was found that I had the wrong size ball and electrical hook up. I had to find for myself a place that had the required hook up attachments. It took me 2 extra hours to find items needed. It would have been better if these parts were in stock at the place of pick up or was told at time of conformation what was needed for hook up. Not being from the area, stopping at various places before finding what was needed, got very frustrating and I ended miles from the pick up point. That part of my experience was very frustrating. The attendant was courteous and did her job in a professional manor. What can you do? It would be my suggestion having the rental center whether private or corporate, have some parts on hand to facilitate the need for parts customers require for propre hook up. If parts are not available that piece of equipment should not be rented their. Ron Sagath

I was asked by transportation group after booking to drop off the truck in a different location which was not a problem. I booked the truck for 24 hours and received a text message that night that I only had the truck for 4 hours. It took the Thomaston location almost the entire next day to confirm that I did have the truch for 24 hours. If was very fustrating that the day before I was supposed to move I didn't know if I was going to have a truch or not.

This was one of the worst moving experiences of my life. I had a truck reserved for 8:00 am, but did not get a truck until 1:30 when an individual at one of the locations made it happen. I was also on hold for over two hours that morning. Then, after geting a truck, at 3:30 later that day, I was told that a 17 foot truck (I had reserved a 14) was available. My whole day, including my movers time was wrecked and it was only the individuals at the location that were helpful in any way.

After hours drop-off was very convenient. Personnel was friendly on the phone. Parking at location was very confusing. Signs or better instruction in addition to threats of improper parking would have been a great help.
