Cindy FCouldn't be easier - I was coming from another location that didn't have what I needed. Got a call on the phone while en route and we sorted out the details easily while I was on the line. Easy pickup, easy drop off, gave me his personal number to communicate with, no complaints - about all I can ask for.

Luis gI hate that i didn’t read the previous review before renting here. The same thing happened to me. I stupidly let the worker here talk me out of using the app to check out, he said he was preventing me from getting a late fee by checking me out himself. This avoided me taking any pictures of the vehicle. He then sends me pictures of a filthy vehicle filled with dirt and trash, not at all how i left it. He said he would not charge me a cleaning fee because it is too much , so I could just cash app or venmo him a lesser fee. Running a scam for what, $10 extra bucks on the side? ridiculous
emily mreserved a 20' truck - david at 2011 tinkling spring rd - confirmed 20' -then, the day before pickup he informs that 20' was taken and only 26' available - upgrade with no charge - really didn't want a bigger truck - a 15' prob. would have been fine for my needs. no one met me for pickup - keys left above visor - informed me that truck had 1/8th of a tank - it was literally on the E mark when i picked it up - gas light went on literally 2 miles from pickup. filled up - ride was smooth - conducted my business- unloaded- swept truck as instructed - took pics of doing so (took pics of everything) - returned truck early. - was instructed to leave key on visor- was not met by david - next day - we exchanged texts - he sent "hey you coulda swept better" - sends me an absurd pic of what looked like several pinches of grass trimmings. was threatening to charge me a sweep fee - i replied with a pic /with timestamp of a pic showing a cleanly swept bed. David got excited and started heating up "are you calling me a f'ing liar?" i replied again; i swept the truck; here's the pic. his reply "do you think i'm a f'ing idiot?" at this point i asked why he thought it was ok to talk to me that way. he backtracked and said " I'm not going to charge you the sweep fee , but just do better next time ok" uhhmm sure... in addition i brought truck back with just a shade under a half tank full of gas. he credited me with a partial credit for it being under a 1/4 tank to begin with ; but did not credit me for 1/2 tank return. final thoughts - I run 2 small sucessful businesses - in no way is ok to talk to someone like that; scolding me as if i'm a child - if you do ; you'll most likely not be in business long. the missed order with wrong size truck and the misrepresentation of gas levels along with trying to hit me up with a sweep fee - pretty dissapointed with this experience - especially since i recently rented a truck in richmond, with no hitches whatsoever. my speculation is that david either was having a bad day and/or maybe has bit too much ego. either way i think a reasonable partial credit is warranted. all pics on file - also; pick up spot is basically a junkyard of old battered cars and a badly groomed gravel half circle drive. did not see a key drop off box (which i would have felt much better about) pretty sketchy location.

Sarah LI had a sudden, unexpected, last minute problem moving a very large piece of furniture and it was UHaul to the rescue! The owner of the UHaul located at Affordable Autos in Stuart’s Draft VA was quick to help me even though it was close to closing time. He set me up with a 10’ box truck and made the rental process fast and easy. He really saved me from what would have been a nightmare situation and I truly appreciated his excellent, above-and-beyond, customer service!!

Sharon GNo personnel on site, it was essentially an auto junkyard in the middle of nowhere with a U-Haul drop box. Worst U-Haul location we have ever seen. Don't use this location. Neither this location nor the pick-up location were the locations that were confirmed with our reservation. Both were changed by U-Haul for the convenience of U-Haul and inconvenience of the customer. We will try another truck rental company for our next rental.
Arthur GWhen I reserved the truck, I used my home address to identify the closest location. When David contacted me and gave me the address, it was not in Staunton. I'm rating this experience as excellent b/c David was so easy to work with. Quick with communication, easy check in, and helpful throughout the process. I forgot my garage door opener in the truck, and he was able to get it and save it for me. Although I had to drive further than anticipated, the location was accessible via 262 or 64.

Flynn SThis dealer provided the best possible customer service! He listened to what we needed and worked to bring in equipment that wasn't on his or another nearby lot. He kept in touch, calling to confirm, and we really appreciate that he didn't send us to UHaul Traffic where we would have had to go out of our way to pick it up. It's nice to work with a business who provides great customer service and support!
