When I booked the trailer online, I could not confirm due to lack of availability. I called the customer service number, and it was a VERY LONG WAIT!! When I did get to an agent, they gave me a local number for the "tracking people", who were able to help me. Why don't you provide that information to customers with a confirmed reservation???Douglas H.

Pickup and return were fast and changes to original reservation were easy-underestimated the move so had to extend reservation. Amy was helpful to point out that I could have the truck for 24 hours instead of reserved 8 hours-so make the move less stressfulCHARLES Y.
The 6' x 12' trailer I rented was 29 years old. The running lights on the right rear were not working. Four of the marker lights on the right side were not working. Three of the four tires were worn down to the wear indicators. In summary, it was a metal box on wheels without much maintenance. I hope their trucks are better-maintained.William G.

My only complaint is that the actual amount of gas in the tank at time of pick-up was less than what was told to me/on the paperwork, so I ended up paying for more gas than I used in order to not incur charges after drop-off.Jennifer B.

My next communication will be a 0 star rating for U-Haul on Yelp. I initially submitted my reservation to U-Haul in Manassas Park, VA, and was told I could pick up in a 10 mile radius. Fleet U-Haul is over 30 miles away. 2 years ago the same thing happened with a truck picked up 20 mi. out of the way. Much extra cost in mileage and fuel accrued. When the trailer was picked up at Fleet, I told them the U-Haul Drop off location should be at Pinnacle Storage in Calabash, NC. The staff member agreed and told me that was the drop off. NOT in Sunset Beach. When I told the staff person at Fleet I would be dropping off the trailer in two, not four days, and wanted to change the length of rental, the staff person said that Pinnacle would make necessary adjustments and refunds at drop off. That was NOT TRUE. Pinnacle said that One Way rentals are NEVER refunded for unused days. The drop off assigned was in Sunset Beach. Pinnacle did accept the trailer, and provided a complementary discount of $35.robert B.
Make it easier to identify trucks by using the vehicle number. The other code isn't obvious and if the agent forgets to mention it then it takes a while to find the vehicle. Marking the parking spots with white liner may also help.Michael O.

Charged me for two trucks and won't respond to telephone messages or emails to location - can't speak with anyone because nobody every answers the phone during business hours, I've called about 6 times. I finally contacted corporate and am waiting to hear from them because it is clear this location will never respond as I've left 3 telephone messages and sent two emails since January 15.Vincent F.

I arrived with a serious timing problem, not Affordable's fault. Amy was exceptionally focused on doing everything she could to fix that. She'd already contacted the guy returning "my" trailer because she figured out my concern on her own. SO when I arrived, she knew it was coming soon (because she'd made the effort to make that happen) and she processed the paperwork and went in search of pads (apparently in short supply) so they were ready to toss in when he got there. Turnover of the trailer took maybe 5 minutes and my day was saved. In a world where too many just toss out the fine print as an excuse, Amy just focused on solving the customer's (i.e. my) problem.Eric A.

Truck sounded terrible. Front axle made lots of noise. Mobile app for check in was Average but.....Office said open at 8:00 am so I made rental for 8:30 am. Staff did not arrive until after 9:00 am... I had to call 800 support due to mobile app issues at checkin and return. Return app could not locate my phone and support could not fix it either so I had to just drop the key without mobile checking. Total time waited at the rental lot 1 hour.Larry W.

My entire experience was very good. It was easy to rent a truck from Uhaul. The employee at the Leesburg Va. location was helpful and answered all of my questions. I received excellent assistance from a Uhaul customer service rep named Chris when I called to ask questions about my trip and use of the truck. Very pleased with my experience and will us Uhaul again in the future.gary C.

The truck was not clean and had not been wiped down between uses. The staff was not wearing masks and insisted I come inside. I felt totally unsafe when renting from this company and will never use Uhaul again. Your Covid procedures show a total lack of concern for your customers' safety.Elizabeth H.

I dropped my truck off on time but didn't end up submitting my return rental until many minutes later because the instructions for returning the rental were NOT CLEAR. It did not tell me to use the prompt from the text I received days earlier to do my Return My Rental Process. Therefore, since the location was closed when I dropped the truck off which I wasn't aware it was going to be closed, it took almost a half hour longer to figure out how to return the rental properly and to have it documented. I called the number that it said to on the instructions and it just went straight to voicemail. I would not recommend this location if it is not open.Olivia C.

This is a Terrible place with a terrible service. A) The old guy who was working that day arrived almost 20 min late B) when I asked for the document were we mark dents/scratches... he said to me â€œI dont have anymoreâ€ go like that. C) I took picture of several dents (with time stamp) and showed to him. The crazy old guy said to me: â€œthats normal, send the pictures by text messageâ€ D) After I returned the truck, the old guy charged me $350 for the dent. E) After I called his supervisor, the old guy started asking me for the pictures with a time stamp. Once I did it, GUESS WHAT HE SAID???? F) Your reservation was for 8:00am and the time stamp on the pictures is 8:30am. 30min is more than enough to do something to the truck. G) He was not expecting that I took a picture of the time he got to the store. Almost 20min late. H) BELIEVE IT OR NOT!!!!!. When I returned the truck (once inside the office), there were RATS on some of the U-Haul Boxes. I saw this box â€œmoving aloneâ€, when I get close to the box, I saw the Rats inside the Box. I will never rent from this Crazy Old GuyChristian O.

My reservation changed and did not have an appliance dolly on it. The truck listed on the paperwork was initially not the truck I was given. I had to go back and swap trucks to get the truck listed on the paperwork. Had to go to 3 different locations for a dolly. When I picked up the correct truck, a tire pressure light was on and stayed on. The service person did add air but it stayed on throughout the rental.Vince G.

Rented 26ft truck drive 5 minutes away and the truck had mechanical issue and had to return - thank goodness we called right before they closed and they had 1 more 26 ft truck. After that things went well but it was a close call to a disasterMary T.
