"Do not rent from this place—they are scammers. Please check the car very closely before driving it, as they charge for small scratches that were not caused by you. They will charge you at least $150, which is not covered under full insurance. Thanks."

The location is a dump and I wasn't thrilled to be driving my own car around the jumbled yard. We waited over half an hour to pick up our van, it wouldn't allow me to do online check in. The guy had to open a door using a pair of scissors jammed in, did not inspire confidence. Then he gave us a van parked behind other vans that we could not access, so we had to go back to him again to switch. He was hard to find when we went to drop off the keys. It just seemed like an unprofessional and scattered place with a long line up. The man was nice enough, but the delay impacted our day and we would not go back.

The truck was so dirty and stinky inside. The driver side was okay but the back side was worst. Never had such a bad experience in uhaul from 1555 warden ave. There was the lock and no key for the lock.

Check in procedures were unusually long. Reserved van smelt of rotting garbage all 4 days the floor was still wet when picked up. There was no washer fluid and when I asked why was told they had none available. The brakes and Transmission were faulty.

The staff was helpful. The windshield fluids were empty and he didn’t have any stock. I requested water to wash which he provided me a bottle. I came at 5:02, closing time is 5:00. I wish I was able to talk to person when dropping off. My fault. Also it would be nice to have some quick instructions on how to adjust mirrors etc, as the staff didn’t have any ideas as well. A quick google search solved it. Over all experience with staff was good but wish there is enough inventory of windshield fluid and some staff knowledge on vehicles would be nice.

Make sure the interior is clean, the previous trip had something smelly inside and wasnt clean with residues inside the truck.

The steps to check in and check out is ridiculous....do better uhaul this location is madness first the website says they close at 2pm got there at 1 no one was onsite. It's veey confusing to get help from anyone no clear marking on where the entrance is. In this day an age why should I do the jobs of the attendant

I had a fantastic experience renting from U-Haul! The process was smooth, and the equipment was in excellent condition. What really stood out, though, was the outstanding customer service from Zakki. He was incredibly helpful, professional, and went above and beyond to ensure I had everything I needed for my move. Zakki took the time to explain all the details, answer my questions, and made sure I felt confident with my rental. High availability but sketchy neighborhood. It’s not clear that there are several businesses there and auto service (one of the businesses) people may not even know that there is U-Haul location in front of them. When returning the truck in the dark it’s pretty creepy and there is no pavement or asphalt - dirt and puddles everywhere.

Gas payment was an overcharge by far!!!!!!!! It was almost tripled. Vehicle was driver and passenger area was toooooo dirty!!!!!! And I believe still dirty because it must have missed. Cleaning for like a month!!! It was soo clear to the agent that it was my first time to use the uhaul but when I asked what to do he just told me to take a picture of the adometer without any other guidelines on how to use the service like checking in and checking out!!

The verification process for mobile pick up was terrible. The chat took over 30 mins verifying, I had to call customer service to have verification done on phone. Ironically, It felt like, store pickup is more faster which should not be the case.

This rental experience was horrible and makes me never want to use UHaul again. I made a reservation multiple days prior for 11:30am for Oct 19. The day before, I was moved to another location that only allowed mobile truck share check in which did not work. I called support, was on hold for 40 minutes, got disconnected, and ended up playing phone tag with multiple different representatives for 2 hours. I finally connected with a representative who told me that the truck at my location was only scheduled for in town moves, even though my initial rental contract guaranteed a one way rental. I eventually found a truck with the help of a scheduling representative, but 40 minutes in the wrong direction my moving destination. All in all UHaul wasted 3 hours of my time and caused me to miss my moving window at my apartment. I will not be renting from UHaul again.

Staff is polite and did a good service. But the truck was in very bad condition. It had very bad odor and unclean. Seems like it has not been clean for days. Truck had 100k+ miles and felt like it will break down any minutes.

Got the truck dirty! They ignored me waiting for them for a long time, walked away and kept chatting while I was waiting to be served. Took forever to get the truck. Very bad customer service! Avoid this location at any cost! They over charged me double the price of what the agreement was!

Properly relocate the GPS of 2050 McCowan Rd Unit 3, Scarborough, ON M1S 4P5, I was picking up the truck before the operation hour, and the GPS was showing that the Uhaul location being 200 meters south of where it supposed to be (previous location before it moved)

I’ve never gotten a brand new moving truck before so that was a treat! The staff was friendly! I was confused on where to go and ended up leaving but I got a call shortly after and went back to get the truck. I would rent from this location again. The overall location I gave a poor review for, I’m not sure if this is fair, I just thought it was a little “run down”. Sorry.

Miserable experience! I booked U-haul truck a week in advance. I booked for 9am location 1555 Warden Ave a 20’ truck with 1 utility dolly and 1 furniture dolly. I got the confirmation email with #94145261. I went at 9 am at U-haul 1555 Warden Ave and they told me that they do not have my truck and to go to 2050 McCowan Rd. I wanted to talk to the manager and the employee said the manger is not there. I went to the 2050 McCowan Rd, the office there was closed. I called U-haul customer support number and I waited 20 min and I couldn’t talk to anyone. Eventually the office opened at 10am. The employee told me they do not have a 20’ truck and I had to get a much smaller 15’ truck. The employee told me that they do not have any furniture dolly. So at the end I was 1 hour late, I got a much smaller truck from a different location I booked and without the equipment I booked. It is difficult to imagine worse than that. I have been using U-haul for 20 years and it is getting worse every year. I don’t understand why it is so difficult for U-haul to hire an intelligent CEO to make the company better not worse!

Fix the USB 2 port on the dash below the display. It was connecting to my mp3 player inconsistently. Also, you should clear off paired devices regularly. Overall I found this location convenient for my needs, easy to find, and the staff member I spoke with was very attentive and friendly. Very pleased with the service and will return to this location again.

I needed to leave the vehicle in another location and it was not possible, and the truck was very old. I reserved for 3:30 and the person called and said it was not ready until 4.
