We felt that the process of checking out the equipment was appropriate for the use of the equipment. The vendor was very helpful, and was efficient and effective in getting us checked in as quickly as possible.

The van had an odor to it. There were strawberries from a previous renter under the passenger seat. The person who wrote the contract did not go over the contract with me. I was shocked when I got to Seaside and the cost was $500. $19.95 for intown use or $514 to drive 170 miles. I am going to post negative reviews on all the social media outlets. This is ridiculous.

I spent over 30 min trying to return the key. It was oils not fit in the drop box. Finally I found a paper clip and was able to jam the key in the box. It was very difficult and annoying.

You advertise $19.99 a day. I drove less than 15 miles, which should’ve been around $12+ with $0.79 mileage charge. Only need the van for a about 36 hours so i figured I’d get charged for two days. Yet I still had to pay $80 for some bullshit reason. Which super sucks because I have to use your dumb fucking services next week too. Enjoy fucking me!!! It’s been great!!!

Bad side mirrors adjustment. The right side was totally useable, and not adjustable. This left the right side of the truck blind. I am a school bus driver and know how to use and set up mirrors. Also, the fuel consumption was very poor. I drove the truck 118 miles and used 15 gallons with truck carrying a load of less than 200 lbs, at a speed of no more than 60 MPH. My 40' school bus does much better than this while on routes.

The agent didn't go over things with me like the buttons on the dashboard. They were a bit confusing. Also, melted M&M's were in the passenger door pocket and a small amount of trash under the seat.

Fuel level was not properly documented when I picked up the truck. I replaced more fuel than I used, then I was charged for 3.9 gallons of fuel after returning the truck.

Lots of confusion on which drop off location was mine. I called this location and they said they didn't have me. I went to W 7th ave to drop off, and they said that I was suppose to come here instead. Just wish River Rd had found my reservation correctly in the first place to avoid confusion.

Windshield washer fluid was empty. The windshield was filthy and was hard to see through. We reserved a 10 ft truck and had to go to three different locations and ended up getting a 20 foot truck . Also at the time of pick up the gas light was on with only 10 miles before the truck ran out of gas. Typical U-Haul service!

It took over an hour to rent the trailer even after I had entered all my information and got the confirmation. Now I see that I’m being charged for two rental periods even after losing moving time and volunteers waiting for the lady to try to figure out the computer system.

When we arrived home we found that everything that was placed closest to the back of truck was wet - due to the rain we encountered coming up, underneath the back sliding door. Unfortunately, we had several important papers in a backpack file that we placed there for easy access as soon as we arrived home. Other than that, everything went well.

Apparently, this location has a serious issue with people stealing gas from their trucks. When asked about it, they said that Uhaul would not help an individual location deal with a problem like this, and the cost of installing a fence/security system would fall on this specific location, rather than the corporation. That being said, the gas line of the truck I rented had been cut prior to my pick-up. I discovered this when I went to fill the truck up before leaving Oregon. It is illegal to pump your own gas in Oregon; there are gas attendants who do it for you, so I went inside while the truck was being filled up. Unfortunately, the attendant walked away from the pump while it was fueling, and $15.00 of gas spilled all over the place. It would seem that neither UHaul, nor the gas station are willing to refund me for that money. I then had to push back leaving Oregon by an entire day and a half. My dad who had flown out to Oregon to drive back with me was forced to take an additional day off work. I also had to push my job start date back by 2 days. No one seemed to care much about that either. Additionally, the seal around the passenger-side window was loose, and so there was noise and cold air leaking into the cab throughout the entire 3 day drive to Ohio. I was incredibly unsatisfied with my UHaul experience, and will do everything I can to avoid ever using this monopolizing company again.

A full operation inspection should be provided with each customer be for the use of equipment . Unfortunate my experience had a small electrical problem. however the repaired was resolved in about 20 minutes.Thank you Air Tool Mant. for this expedited response.

Air Tool Maintenance management should be more clear about everything in the truck and in its instructions to customers. There was a misunderstanding about a commercial grade padlock that management showed to me when I picked up the rental truck, instructing me to use that padlock to lock the truck when I dropped off the truck at Air Tool Maintenance after using it. Air Tool Maintenance management then called the next morning complaining about the padlock saying it wasn't theirs (a different claim from the day before) and that it prevented them from renting the truck out again. I had to leave work, drive a long way to Air Tool Maintenance, and pay a $65.00 charge to have their padlock removed from the vehicle. All in all the truck rental cost over $110.00, not the $29.95 for truck plus $7.00 for dolly quoted by Air Tool Maintenance.
