GARY SCommunicate the details of the pickup clearly. I did not know that the truck promised was not going to be at the location chosen. This ambiguity made our Saturday 8 a.m. departure for Michigan a 1 p.m. realty. The delay made it impossible to travel the distance to our destination without stopping to sleep. The additional time resulted in the renting of the hotel room and additional costs($151.00) that was unnecessary. The online reservation left much to be desired.

Sergey SStaff was friendly and quickly processed my rental, but the truck "Check Engine" light was on when picked up. I was told "Don't worry about it". The passenger side wiper blade was beyond useless and it rained all day. It clearly needed replacing a long time ago. Finally, the cargo area had dried mud and broken pieces of plastic in it. Clearly it wasn't cleaned by last customer nor U-Haul reps., so that delayed loading to clean it up.
Scott HEverything was well maintained and easy to rent. Staff was friendly and prompt to get me in my way. I really wish there was a Jack on the trailer to remove it easier. It was very heavy and difficult to be lift off but otherwise, was a great deal

Rick RVery rude and wanted to argue about everything from gas tank only half full and mileage - it was an error on website and the pickup place took care of it.
Amy CYou need to rework the self check in or whatever it's called. Why the hell do you need half the cities names, phone numbers, passports, and their employment. Some people have no family. Some people are trying to leave from a violent relationship and not have half the city know. Some people are busy working and cannot answer their phones. The information you need is the person renting it, who's driving it, and 1 emergency contact. Not multiple ones. The process took over an hour to do. Absolutely ridiculous.

Steve CFirst number I called didn't work. Then no one answered phone. They closed at noon and my drop off wasn't until evening. Tried to contact someone to inform if my drop off. No answer or voicemail. Left trailer earlier than scheduled. Got called next day asking if I dropped trailer off. Need a better communication system. Even a voicemail to leave or contact someone would be nice. Then return calls as needed if no one working or after work hours.

Sydney RWhen returned to Albia was unable to reach someone for code for locking key in lock box. Someone had closed lock so I was unable to use lock available and other two key drop off locks were used. It worked out but since I lived 30 miles away it would of been helpful if someone could of answered phone.called in am and explained where key was located and staff was very pleasant and helpful.

Andrew MThe equipment was clean, butThe tire came off and the rim 10 miles out of town. However, the people were nice, customer service was good and Uhaul roadside assistance took care of the problem even though it took 2 1/2 hours.
