U Haul called me 24 hours before my reservation to ask if I'd pick up at a different location. I agreed but asked if there would be room to leave my car till I returned the truck. She said yes. So Saturday morning at 9am I arrived as scheduled. The location had the truck sitting out front...but is closed on Saturdays and Sundays. I called the number, no answer. I called U Haul. They said I had to login to their app, where I'd find the lockbox code to retrieve the keys for the truck. When I had booked (10 days earlier) I had answered all questions, downloaded license photos, and should have taken 2 minutes to leave. The App had no info, so I had to stand outside in the cold wind with my phone reloading everything I had done. The girl on the phone was most apologetic, but it took me 28 minutes to finally get the key and get on the road...which meant i was paying for moving labour who were waiting half an hour for me to arrive. Nedt time I will NOT agree to changes, when I book well in advance. It left me frustrated and believing nobody really cares. Not the first issue I've had...
