CHARLES RThe truck I reserved was not there when I arrived. The customer service dept did everything they could to locate the truck or find me another one in the area. I had reserved the truck for noon. I received a last minute text saying it would be ready at 1:30instead. Why did my reservation change? I had reserved the truck 3 days in advance! And the truck was still not available at 1:30! That is what reservations are for - to be honored. I had set up movers for a specific time around the reservation I made well in advance. I am very disappointed in the way the hual organization handled this.
Jahanna SWe dropped off the truck here after hours about 12 hours before our drop off time. I can't honestly comment on this location as we never went into the business or talked to anyone. We used the app to drop off the truck. Somewhere in that process the app told us we owed more money. I wrote a note in the app stating we had paid for the extra day. About a month after we dropped the truck off, U-Haul charged our charge card an extra $130.92. I contacted U-Haul and they told me someone would contact us in 24 to 48 hours. Mike called us on a Sunday while we were celebrating our son's birthday. He was unpleasant to talk to and seemed determined to prove we were trying to shortchange U-Haul. I told him I had the receipt right in front of me and asked him if he had a copy of it. The receipt should have put and end to the entire nonsense as it clearly supported everything I was telling this guy. To be honest it was a very confusing conversation and I felt like the guy was determined to get extra money out of us. The entire situation felt sleazy. I knew we had paid for the truck rental in full when we picked it up and had a receipt to prove it. In addition, I knew our bank would have no problem understanding our viewpoint when I shared the receipt with them after contacting them about the extra charges. Hopefully we will never need a rental again, as this experience has me thinking twice about renting from U-Haul in the future.

bruce wWithout having a walk around with the agency representative and paying an extra $11 which I thought would cover any unforeseen problems I was charged for a dent in in a door that I never knew or saw and definitely didn’t have done to me while I had the truck. I was told I would be called back with the outcome of her inquiry regarding my payment for the insurance and then I was automatically sent a bill with an $150 extra charge for damage to the truck, totally unacceptable. I really would like Before and after pictures

Tammi SThe check engine light was on when I started it the first time. Notified the gals in the office. Was told due to an after market sensor it would stay on all the time and it was OK. A bit disturbing. Didn't cause any problems during our trip, I'm happy to report!

Lori WWhen I got there the truck that they gave me had a check engine light on. The woman in charge guaranteed that the check engine light would not lead to a breakdown according to her Mechanic. I rented it anyway only because my ride that had taking me there had already left and still not sure but I did it anyway. Yes I rented the truck

Tim BThis was not the original location I had reserved. It was a fair distance away from Poulsbo. Call center called me and said I needed to go here. I said it was hard without a car. Agent said take an Uber. That cost 150.00. This unaccepted change also impacted my movers help. Agent on phone was rude and disrespectful and regardless of the pick up experience in Sequim being good, I will not rent a uhaul again.

Bonnie TI think the $19.00 something is misleading by U Haul, and with very little miles, ends up in the $70.00 something.
john mThe reason I would recommend them is they were open and they had the truck size I needed. However, make sure that the mileage on your contract matches the one on the speedometer. Mine was off by 14 miles which would have cost me an extra $21.68 if I had not taken a picture of the speedometer when I started out. Also when I got home I looked at the final bill and discovered that the "rental tax" was figured at an 11.4% rate. I had previously rented a U-Haul truck at a competing location and the rate they charge is 8.7% which is the state sales tax rate. I'm not sure what the Grant Road calls their additional 2.7% but I ended up paying 2.7% extra to rent from this location.
