Melodi CWhen you tell the person you are renting a truck from that the purpose is to move your broken down motorcycle it would be great if they point out that the only truck that have available doesn’t have a ramp. I didn’t even know uhaul HAD trucks without a ramp. I almost died trying to load my bike with ramps I had to go buy from lowes.

Christian cI’ve used U-Haul before and never had an issue so I’m not sure what happened this time. When I got to the pick up location and tried to do the app check in I was told that there was no equipment assigned to my reservation. When I called customer service I was told that the pick up truck I had reserved was not available at my location even though I was standing right in front of one. My reservation was then switched to a cargo van however I needed to wait 30 minutes for the check in, even though there was two vans standing there. When it was finally time for me to do the check in, again it stated that were was an issue with my reservation and to call customer service. When I called the second time the rep told me I needed to go into the store to complete the pick up, but the location I was at had no U-Haul store. It took another 20 minutes to figure out that I had to go into a near by supermarket where I could be helped and was finally able to pick up the van an hour after my original reservation time.

When I returned the van the guy didn’t want to check it cause it was raining , he doesn’t go with u just give u the key , you are in your own . He told me after 100 miles U-Haul lowers the rate from .69 to .49 . The. They laugh in your face saying that was just verbal . Not in the contract . They changed me 14 for fuel after I left it right in the same line they gave it to me . I left it cleaner than what I got it and the area manager wanted to charge me to clean it . I took photos and everything . Will never use them again if they tell you something make sure u get it in writing . Went to return it and the guy just left me there told me I had to wait till he finished fixing the tablet screens , jumped from one to another tablet . While I was waiting to check out . After 1 hour standing there I left . Made a complaint but the area manager went with the guy . And didn’t clear my complain . He gave me his cell number now he don’t answer or respond . Don’t use them go straight to U-Haul place not these small dealers . You don’t get the same service

Luz GThey provide vehicles covered in Vinegar. The entire drive needed the windows down. Clearly, they didn’t clean the vehicle before handing the keys over. This service will not be recommended to anyone in this city.

MELANA DAt first a little difficult to find since I didn't realize it was a kiosk type office located in Tropical Market, however, once there, the process was quick, very friendly and courteous. 'Remo Wireless', the vendor, was great; quick and efficient. The vehicle was FANTASTIC. Clean, new, everything worked. All in all a very pleasant experience. If money is an issue for you make sure you understand the daily rate, mileage costs, insurance costs and possible late fees (returning late). I understood them and they have a lowest price guarantee so I had no problem with cost. One last thing. Anytime you rent make sure you point out any damage you notice during your inspection, to the vendor and take a picture of it for your record. There was no damage at all to my rental.
