While attempting to rent a cargo trailer at the U-haul location at LBJ Freeway - Garland they notified me that my name appeared on their e-alert system for past due or unpaid balances, I spoke with five different reps this morning (three from U-haul, one at the store; two customer service reps and two from e-alert). After speaking with the first e-alert rep, he explains that there are two red light tickets under my name with jurisdiction in New York, NYC Department of Finance, one for $100 and another for $150, both rented from RENTAL LOCATION: Allison & Sarai Auto Repair, the one on 01/25/24 an the other on 01/24/24. the information on their Recepts is as follows: CONTRACT # 28494522 CITATION - REDLIGHT 1/25/2024 @ 1:03 PM BAYRON P VIOLATION # 4034820550 BRONX, NY DESCRIPTION: E-5 EQUIPMENT NO: BE7675W LICENSE NO : AM26970 AZ RENTAL LOCATION : ALLISON & SARAI AUTO REPAIR CONTRACT # 28401309 CITATION - REDLIGHT 1/24/2024 OMOTAYO O VIOLATION NO: 4034801669 BRONX, NY DESCRIPTION: E-5 EQUIPMENT NO BE7847C JURISDICTION: NYC DEPARTMENT OF FINANCE RENTAL LOCATION : ALLISON & SARAI AUTO REPAIR I explained to the reps that I have never been to NYC and much less rented a U-haul in NYC. They have so far blew me off and claim that they are my charges even though my driver license is a texas License not an Arizona as they have on their contracts, and I have never rented a U-haul outside of the Dallas DFW Metroplex. They refused to get me to a manager and my efforts to rectify this situation have been fruitless. I no longer wish to do business with this company but I am concerned that my personal information has been compromised by their employees and that they have rented equipment to people in my name in other states. I will next contact the Texas Attorney General, Office of Consumer Credit and the Federal Trade Comission. Some will get their attention.

MICHAEL GAlthough I’ve used this location 3times 2of which I had no issue but my 3rd visit the general manager or person on the cashier that day was sorta weird with me saying he didn’t see my reservation then I reserved again he said he didn’t see my card information how can u reserve without one then he said my card declined from my bank which was also wasn’t true cuz I called right in front of him my card was fine then he said it declined again then suggested I go to another location which was far away after all that I was basically forced to use my credit card cuz I’m guessing that’s what he wanted to do if your African American with a strong personality don’t go there cuz if you get that gentleman u gone loose yaself
HARMANIE JI brought the vehicle with a full tank and they say I would not get a credit. I should have brought it with less gas. Then I would have been charged for returning it with less gas smh.
Travis BThe truck smells of urine. The shocks and brakes were not good on the truck. I also received the truck almost empty on gas and was charged again when I dropped off the truck. this is the most hectic place to drop off a truck. I would never recommend this place to anyone I know.
