Two tire blowouts 5 minutes apart… all 4 tires were in poor condition. It should absolutely be a standard no matter what, that tires be in good condition if you’re going to rent a vehicle to anyone. Regardless of price. The whole experience was awful and honestly probably won’t rent another U-Haul for a very long time if ever. Prices are reasonable, however, the headache of the whole experience was heinous.

quick and friendly check in , pick up and drop off. Would rent from this location again.
John MI did the remote pickup. I arrived but my truck was not blocked in. After a few phone calls the owner showed up and gave me a larger truck since mine was blocked in. I was able to make it back in time to meet my movers. I call this a win! I would use this location again just based on the customer service experience I had.

RALPH BI was charged an after hours convenience fee, but returned my truck while the location was open. I spoke with the employees. No fee was mentioned, but it was charged to me that evening.

CHARLES ETruck was old, had maintenance notification on instrument panel. Driver and passenger doors were hard to get closed. Picked up gas empty light bottomed out had to immediately fill gas, took 27 gallons to fill. I got no credit for returning 3/8 gas tank.

Tutul FI had a reservation for Beach & Southside location. When I arrived at 7:15am, I was told that my reservation was cancelled and rescheduled for 9:15am at location on Phillips Hwy. The uhaul rep apologized for lack of notification and promised to give me a $50 refund. Uhaul was quick to take my money, but I have yet to receive the promised $50 refund.

Therese GI was able to drop the trailer off by myself. However, its possible the hours over the Holiday were different as no one was there at the stated opening time. I received receipt of the drop off, though I did ask that someone call me, which did not happen. Either way, all good from my side, I have the receipt.

Leonard CThey lady wasn't there, I had to call her. Also, she didn't walk around the truck with me with an inspection sheet. She didn't write down the miles before I left but, I took a photo that way I knew how many miles I used.
Frances JI arrived at the counter of the original rental location in Nocatee, Ponte Vedra only to be told that they did not have my truck I reserved. I didn't get a call until I was already leaving the office with no truck only to be told that the only available rental they could "find" for me was "quite a ways away". I was stuck as I had 4 people waiting at my house to start the move paid by the hour. I had to drive about 15 miles - 25 minutes one way to now go get the truck that was originally reserved only about 2 miles from my moving location. I was now 2 hours behind schedule, paying people to stand in my driveway AND I was charged an addtional $65 for mileage which is total nonsense because it was YOUR FAULT I had to drive the additional miles. I was also promised a discount for the rental from Jessica who was rude, confrontational and dismissive to the fact that UHaul did not provide what they promised. I never received a discount and was charged full price plus the mileage. I will NEVER EVER EVER rent or recommend anyone I know to rent from UHaul again. I will be calling to get my discount and mielage reimbursement but for now you have wasted enough of my time. I want to be clear that Alpha Natural Stone was not at fault here - they were perfectly nice - it was the original rental company and UHAUL who were the nightmare.
