He gave me the truck when the gas tank was almost empty. It had 21 miles till empty so i had to put fuel in it just to get it home. He gave me absolutely no paperwork about the van just asked me for payment and gave me the key. When i returned the truck i didn’t know how much gas was supposed to be in it due to the lack of paperwork and i had to run back and forth to put gas in it in hopes i wouldn’t be charged the fuel service fee.

The app kept crashing and messing up. Customer was great . I still don’t understand why the cashier took pictures of my ID and card.

The idiot had no idea of what he was doing. It took 1/2 an hour waiting for the idiot to process whatever. No printed paperwork, no text or email confirming pick up. And, there was no one there to assist me in making sure the trailer was hooked up correctly. “I know nothing about trailers” quoted from the idiot.

No-one there to receive the van. Had to trust that everything would be done properly.

The equipment was checked in 3 days after I turned in even after I spoke with 2 people in person and called once. English was not the staff person’s primary language and clear communication was very difficult. I would not use this location again.

I purchased a dolly rental with the enclosed trailer. Whenever I went to pick it up, there was no dolly and whenever I let the cashier know about the dolly, she gave me the “owners number”. I called the owner and did not get an answer so I left a voicemail. It has been a week and I still have not received a phone call. I’m not upset about to $14 for the dolly, but the least you can do is return a call. Terrible service and will not be renting from this location again.

I had to hook up trailer myself which was very heavy and difficult as i have bad hips and back. I was furious with U-haul system as I reserved a trailer the day before in Summerville, SC for which my son drove 5 hours to pick up the trailer only to find out it was unavailable. I was charged $33 fir a trailer hitch that was also not available for pick up in Summerville.

There was about 20 blankets in the back of the truck not folded. I didn’t use them, found them that way. Had to fold 20 blankets I didn’t use in order to avoid being charged

It was never stated that the key drop box was inside the gas station, the “Designated” parking area had no clear markings. Parked next to 3 U-Haul trailers already on location. Using the U-Haul app was easy, but when your in an area w/ poor reception (Like I was). It made it tough, at first, to complete the process

The owner also ran a gas station at the same time so whenever I pulled up to drop off my equipment, he couldn’t help me unload it and didn’t know how to unload it. The guy from the store next-door had to come over and help us as well. I then proceeded to have to Google how to take the equipment off of my car and had to do it myself. And then he didn’t even tell me how to return the piece of equipment online.
