Overall, this is a very convenient self-service U-Haul location, and I would recommend it. The only reason I rated lower than excellent is due to how the mobile app check-in works with the GPS location. To fully check in, the app requires you to be physically at the GPS coordinates tied to the marina, but the trucks and equipment are actually parked about 300 yards down the road. This means you have to go to the marina parking lot, then back to the trucks, then back to the marina again to retrieve the keys before you can leave. The same issue happens during drop-off. If possible, it would be much more efficient if the GPS location were recalibrated to the area where the trucks and equipment are parked rather than the marina itself. Also, since this is a self-service location, renters should be prepared to hook up trailers and operate the equipment on their own, which could be challenging if you’re not familiar with it. That said, the convenience of the location is a big plus.

DARRELL BTell the management there, that UHAUL said they are supposed to be the one who connects a trailer with a UHAUL vehicle. And help put the car, etc. onto it. I had to walk back and forth from the trailer, to the bar and wait. The manager said to me that he didn't have to. I had to argue a little, by telling him that UHAUL did tell me over the phone, that they would move the trailer, then hook up my car. He finally helped me. I think this took too long.

Only issue was the drop off locator on the app you had to go closer to the key drop area to get the app to recognize the location and start the process because where you leave the truck was to far from the signal to start the turn in.
ALEXANDER SThis location is only for drop off. There were no personnel to help out if needed. We did not need any help to drop it off. The scheduling manager was not willing to change the drop off location that was closer to our home. I called the location near our house and it was able to take our trailer but with that would be an expense. I was not accommodated a drop off that was feasible.
