As someone that worked for U-Haul once I would say the entire experience was a disaster. The information for the checking was confusing. The worker had no idea, because "it's all done only now". Even though I have rented since the start of the contactless system this was even more confusing. It sadly would have been faster and easier with the old paper check-out.

Staff was not helpful in any way. They passed me by as I was backing the trailer into what seemed was the only available spot. After I entered the garage, they then told me I had to park the trailer on the other side of their lot. After I disconneted the trailer and set it down manually, I reentered their establishment and they looked over my paper work. After several concerned looks, they thought I should take the trailer to another lot, outside of the city. They couldn't give me the address that they wanted me to go, but gave general directions. I showed them my documents and the girl behind the counter got real frosty and angry. She said I would have to come back later after she verified the trailer in a coulple of hours. After she handed the papers to me, I showed them to her where the return was supposed to go, and she finally accepted it, but still told me I had to verify it later, as she was having a hard time contacting Uhaul by the phone.
JOSEPH SEveryone on-site was very helpful and went out of their way to make sure my trunk rental was a successful experience.

ARLIE IKnow what size truck you're actually giving your customer. Was charged $29.95 for at 19.95 size truck. Was told it was a 15 ft truck and given a 10ft truck key. Agent at the counter said they were sold out of the 10' trucks. And when returned the truck she said ohh. And never was refunded.
JOSHUA HI showed up on time for my reservation. There was no U-Haul representative on location at this location. The employees/owners of this location(at an auto shop) were less than helpful. In order to complete my reservation I had to wait to download the U-Haul app to my phone - with my own data - and switch my reservation to a 24/7 pickup reservation and go through the reservation on my own. AGAIN, THE OWNERS AT THE LOCATION WERE UNABLE/REFUSED TO HELP ME AND I HAD TO PERFORM THE PICKUP ON MY OWN. Due to switching to the 24/7 reservation there was a further delay because the automated system flagged my photo for some reason. I was forced to wait almost 45 minutes after my reserved pickup time when a U-Haul employee finally got to my request for help and allowed me to retake my photo. Apparently it was flagged because I was wearing a hat. HOW REDICULOUS! I have used U-Haul multiple times in the past and had no issues. This is my first time with U-Haul having an issue with a reservation. I'm very disappointed. I will not be returning to this location for further rentals and will recommend that nobody use this location. Unfortunately there is not a 0 star rating.
Jesse CThey are not open on Saturday like they claim to be. Had to use the horrible u-haul app, which kept crashing, so turned to the equally poor u-haul website, which also kept crashing. Note: Amity cannot do anything about the u-haul technology crashing, that just made the whole experience with no one on site much worse.
KEVIN CNo light cable provided for car trailer. Was told its customer’s responsibility to provide. Larry, mechanic, graciously let me borrow a cable.

Ashley WI had ordered furniture pads and they were not in vehicle when picked up. The furniture pads were absolutely NEEDED for this move. That is why I ordered them and called the Friday before to confirm vehicle and pads would be ready for Sunday pick up! I was assured all was going to be ready and available. Regarding the self check in/pick up...the check in process was not as simple as described.
Lori JMake this a real uhaul location or get rid if it. With all the hassles I had with this rental in Cheney, i could have driven to spokane to get a truck and saved time. I have rented so mNu moving trucks and it’s always smooth, but not here. Not a favor to anyone to keep this location running the way it is.
Deanna CI was disappointed that the keys to the truck we reserved were not available. Consequently, we had to rent - and pay for- a larger truck. This was the first time we rented from this location. We will need a truck again next Nov. Our plan is to rent from Amity as we are all about helping local businesses. However, I will only pay for what I reserved next time. The young man helping us was awesome.

Daryl PIt's all about the interface. It should not have taken me an hour and 2 calls to customer service in order to get the dolly I rented dropped off. I am extremely frustrated with uhaul and their poor service.
Dustin SUhaul app needs work. The app repeatedly crashes. Boots you out I middle of transaction. Uhaul app is not user friendly. This is the only negative part of the whole experience.

David HI was going to rate 5 stars, but the return process with the pictures was horrible. Everytime it had me retake a photo, another photo that it had said was good was bad all the sudden. I spent almost an hour taking and retaking photos .
Jeremy BIt was a dirt lot. Trailer wasn’t attached properly when we left and fell off. Was told it was clean inside but once we opened at our storage unit it was full of leaves and mud.
DOUGLAS LWell for starters It took a whole hour just to check in and get the keys. At other locations it takes about 5 minutes. When I finally did get my truck is was stuck on a very thick patch of ice and I couldn't get it out. You'd think they would of had it backed out and ready to go but the guy was too stoned to know what was going on. I also paid for and reserved 10 moving blankets that I never received. Very unprofessional. You'd be better off going to an actual uhaul location in spokane. These guys just don't care.
