LOUIS CFirst off the van immediately smelled like urine. But the U-Haul location host denied it and said we wouldn’t be held responsible when the vehicle was returned. She also decided to follow us outside and take pictures of us assuming the assigned driver wasn’t going to drive. Telling us verbatim “we’ve been got so many times before, you’re not taking the van” so I had to explain to this angry woman that my grandmother isn’t tech savvy so I’m just in the car doing the initial inspection for her which she should’ve known because my grandmothers phone wasn’t receiving the text the host was trying to send so they sent it to my phone instead. End of the day we left with the van but this lady has some type of U-Haul PTSD and should know to treat every customer like new. Terrible customer care skillset at this location overall, get it together.

WILLIAM HThe manager in charge Charge me for so many fee that I was not charged before, for any of my previous rent , and that doesn’t make any sence like a check out with the phone $20 fee late hour services that I had never being explained from not one before we also were charged for Gas when we make sure we put the same amount gas the cargo van has when it was given to us on etc. terrible experience will never go back to that place

Gary MI have rented trailers many times from this location. I like the location because it's easy for me to pick up and drop off but the last time I was there I was extremely upset about the customer service from one of the employees. I was simply saying I would have loved to return the trailer on Sunday but that location was closed. When I made a small joke about them being closed so i couldnt drop it off, she told me to rent from another location next time as she walked away from me. Who says that to their customers?? I was shocked that she even said that. When I spoke to another employee and told her what she said to me she just laughed and continued to check in my trailer. I am very upset about this whole experience. Never had such awful customer service from this locations. The location is great but the service was awful!!

richard rThe rental trailer had no ramp to load...returned almost immediately for truck but none were available at this location...had to go to different location...STILL CHARGED ME FOR A DAY... RETURNED IN 1 HOUR. Finally got a truck from other location....VERY UNHAPPY!!!!!!!

TAMMY AThere was a mandatory insurance which was not mentioned, even in the fine print, during the booking details. Day rate, mileage fees were made clear and were mandatory fees, but this mandatory insurance was NOT Made Clear until I came to pick up the van. Both the owner of the facility and her U-Haul supervisor were not helpful in allowing me to use my full coverage Allstate insurance which I used 3 previous time renting at this same facility. In the end the owner threatened to dump my reservation and leave me stranded and had no empathy for all that a clients goes through to organize a home move and the necessity of a van to make it all happen. She was eager to just walk away from the reservation. U Haul supervisor said that the owner does have the ability to make changes and waiver to the rental agreement. So I will not rent from them again.
Michael PThe issue I had WAS NOT with this pick-up location. I booked the pick-up 10 days in advance at a location that would have convenient TO ME - in Hollywood, FL. The day before, the pick-up location got changed to an out-of-the way location in North Miami Beach. When I arrived, I was told the reservation WAS CANCELLED! I was sent BACK TO Hollywood. Fortunately, Anchor Rental had the trailer I needed. The drop-off location was also NOT NEAR where I had originally expected to go.

Gladys CTami was excellent and extremely responsive to our rental needs. I arrived and she immediately tended to me, and I was out of there in less than 15 minutes. She took the time, the day before to ensure the proper trailer with rear ramp was at their location and was ready to roll when I arrived. Her customer service was outstanding.

Fadoul MNowhere in the rental with the U-Haul app does it says I will be PRE-charged for miles I “MIGHT” use… and at $50 a day is ridiculous! I rented the truck for 3 days and they charged my card $150 extra because that claimed my card will be declined. The only reason I came back to this location is because I wasn’t sure they pulled this same scheme off before, and wanted to pay close attention on this rental. On my first rental I used a debit card that had the exact funds for my job site and the rental. However because of their ridiculous extra charges, my account got hit with an overdraft fee. Google reviews will show that they do this to others as well, plus they accusations that I won’t pay for my rental was absolutely shitty customer service !!
Daniel EI feel the mileage price for the small 10’ truck is outrageous…I rented a truck to pick up a bed frame and it cost me over $150 way too expensive and may cause me to not rent again because of the overpriced
Jena HI can't say anything negative about this Uhaul location. Everyone there was great. I wasn't familiar with their site and how to navigate. They were kind enough to help me through it. Moving is stressful, but these folks made this rental experience easy. They were actually there to help. I would recommend this location to everyone in Hollywood, FL. Thank You!!!

Zaq Hit was a terrible experience. I periodically need to rent a car for my work, but every time I rent a u haul I remain deceived! I’ll tell you about some cases... instead of 24 rent, which are included in the rent, the employee in the office noted that I would return the car in 4 hours... and if I don’t return it, then naturally they take money from me. instead of the 100 miles that are included, the u haul employee marks 50 miles and then I pay more again. the last time I reserved Cardo Ven in advance and upon arriving on the appointed day they told me in the office that the location of the pickup had changed, since I needed a car for work, I went to the next location and there they said that here is your car, but it’s broken, I asked what I should do, the office worker said that we couldn’t help. I had to call the main office, after which I was sent to another office, where they offered me a car larger than what I had reserved and asked me to return it at 10:30 p.m. so that other people could use it. (this is again not 24 hours) this car consumed more gasoline and in order to return this car, I had to drive additional miles, for which again I had to pay. but that's not all! when I arrived to drop off the car, the office was closed, the u haul app didn’t work, and it turned out that they took money from me again because I dropped off the car later... it was evening, and my 24 hours ended at 3:30 p.m. the next day. It was a terrible experience!!!
