SERHII MThe truck they gave me drove a little bit rough. I was told it was maintained the week before. It did the job but the mileage per gallon was not very good. The guys at the rental were great and helpful. I will definitely rent from this place again.

JOSE GI went on Friday March 1 to confirm my truck rental and to purchase some boxes and bubble wrap. it was 10:47 am and the location is supposed to be open at 10am. there was a note on the door, 'gone to the bank, back by 10:30' but I waited until 11:05 and no one showed up. next day I arrived shortly after 10am to pick up my truck and again, the door was locked. Phil came out right away though and told us he'd been called to the location that morning. He got us all set and was extremely helpful. Whoever normally works there, though... does not actually work there. So unless I know Phil will be there, I will avoid this location in the future. The truck itself had no backup camera and the side mirrors were not adjustable so it was somewhat hazardous to drive.

Zack LI was very upset that they told me the truck was full of gas when it actually wasn't full. I took pictures of the needle before I left and then after I filled it up when I dropped it off. The needle went way past the full mark when I filled up, which was about a quarter of a tank more than when I picked it up. They deceived me when they told me it was full, so when I filled it back up I topped it off as I should have but ended up putting WAY more gas in it than I should have! U-Haul will not issue refund ANY of it after speaking with them. Also, I tried calling them ALL WEEKEND and left many messages because I forgot my garage clicker in the truck and they never responded unitl days later after they rented the truck again, and now I had to pay to get a new garage remote because it had been taken from the truck. I will never use U-Haul again.
JENNIFER TMy rental truck had a mechanical failure. There was a strong gas smells in the cabin. The exhaust was very loud this truck is poorly maintenance. Horrible experience.
MAYRON HWe were over charged $415 for 3 days and not refunded. The antheme employee also was not trained properly on how to rent out U-Haul or how to do anything with U-Haul on their computers. I know now that I should not go to any storage facility and just use U-Haul locations only. I believe I was over charged by $200
Kelly VIt would have been helpful if the procedure for dropping off the truck after hours had been explained at the time of pickup. We were told to just put the key in the drop box and if I hadn’t seen and read the text you sent, I would have been charged an additional $20.00. I had requested a hand truck which was not provided, so I had to go elsewhere to rent one. There were also no blankets provided in the truck. There was definitely a lack of communication.

Anthony FI drove less than 10 miles but ended up paying more than $1.89/per due to the truck requiring service and being a gas guzzler. I apparently used a quarter tank of gas for less than 10 miles!!! FIX YOUR TRUCKS!!!

ROBERT RI picked up truck lady was great! When i returned it my truck did not match mileage on paperwork. The truck they gave me was the wrong truck vs. The paperwork!!! Trying to check the truck in was ridiculous!! I tried the app multiple times and it didnt work. I called the 1 800 number and it was a 90 min wait!! Took me about 1.5 hours just to return thw truck. I also did not receive the email after I checked the truck out.

SUSAN FStaff was friendly and helpful. When I picked up the truck it had slightly more than a half tank of gas. At the end I put 2 gallons of gas in to bring the tank level back to the original level. Then on the final bill I was charged an additional $11+. That makes approximately 5 gallons to go 18 miles. The math works out to about 3 1/2 mpg. I even put the gas receipt in the night drop box with the key. I don’t understand why I ended up paying so much for gas…One further item- The steering was very loose and it was hard to keep the truck squarely in the lane. I will think twice before renting a U-Haul truck again. Thanks for the opportunity to give you feedback!

Shyann KI didn’t get the uhaul in tank full . I returned it the same way . Difference between miles out and miles in was 7 miles . How can I be charged 36$ this is pure robbery during COVID times . Not cool . Very disappointed

Douglas HThe location and the employees there where fantastic. U-Haul themselves are completely dreadful and if asked by anyone in the future I WILL NOT recommend them to anyone ever!!! We reserved a truck 3 weeks in advance. Three hours before we were supposed to be picking up our truck I received an Email from U-Haul informing me that the they had "guaranteed" me was not going to be available. I would have to travel to a location almost 20 miles away to get a smaller truck than the one I reserved!!! That's right. . . .that information came to me just 3 hours before I was to pick up the truck!!!! Absolutely unacceptable!!! The original truck was slated to be picked up at the location we had a storage unit at. I was going to be able to park my personal vehicle in the storage grounds until I returned with the truck. Now, instead, in three hours I had to make arrangements to leave work earlier then planned because of the drive to get the truck , AND I had to arrange to get driven there by someone as leaving my personal vehicle at the location was not an option. I would also need someone to pick me up after returning the truck as it was NOT a one way rental!!! So, I had in incur the extra costs of: Compensating someone for their time and gas to drive me there and back, the extra (Appx. 38 miles) on the rental, the extra fuel for those extra miles and because the truck was smaller than I wanted I had to take two trips instead of one to complete my move. . . (more additional miles and gas)!!! I have NO idea what I would have done had I been moving out of town or state!!! Also, during the numbers of phone calls I had to make with U-Haul to get things figured out the U-Haul representatives that I spoke with were completely rude and condescending and actually had the gall to use the statement "this is what happens when you wait until the last minute" !!!!! I reserved a truck 3 WEEKS AGO!!! They were the ones that dropped a bomb on me with 3 hours notice!!! Talk about waiting until the last minute!!! After sharing the tale of events with others in the aftermath of what had happened I found that every single one of them had an account of similar outcomes when using U-Haul!! I am in business for myself and just based on the principal alone of being that outrageously callous and inept at conducting business I refuse from this day forward to EVER support such a ridiculous company by giving them any of my patronage. Also, I will NEVER refer a single person to them, EVER!!! I would not want to be the person responsible for getting someone involved in such a menace of a business. Moving is stressful and agonizing enough without inviting more mayhem into the event. I hope you can figure out how to right this ship U-Haul. Because you are making life miserable for a very trusting public and they deserve better!! Completely disgusted customer!!

Monica LThe truck was not all that clean, dry mud on the mats. I cleaned a little so I wasn’t charged. The ride was not smooth truck almost sounds like it needs a tune up gas went to fast. Charge way to much on mil, I felt I paid way to much. But the customer service was excellent.

Renting the truck, on site, was such a great experience. I've had plenty of moves in this past year and I was so grateful to take one step out of the process by renting a truck on-site. Instead of renting a truck somewhere other than my storage facility.

Linda NClear directions about how to get there. It is tucked away right of freeway exit/entrance and kinds of hard to see/access. Next to no customer parking.
Dean NMy comments have nothing to do with Anthem. They were great. My online order was incorrect. I didn't sign for anything accept the truck rental. I was charged $28 and called uhaul customer service. They said that they will send it to a manager and look into it. That I expect to get credit for. The worst part I'd I was asked by the online uhaul ordering if I wanted any moving helpers. We needed to hire help so I thought that was great. We paid $305 for the helpers because we have injuries and shouldn't be lifting. They no call, no showed. It was really bad. We were stuck and could move very little stuff but used the truck. We had to hire a mover and truck to do the job. When I talked to the uhaul customer service. They said that it is a 3rd party and can't do anything about it. I ordered through you guys and got no support or an offer of a discount, credit, or nothing. Then I have to wait for a credit for something I didn't order. I hope you will think about something for us.
