Truck was filthy inside. The location that was renting me the truck had issues because the people who turned the truck in before me their credit card didn’t clear and he had to call customer service so that he could add me to the truck reservation. The truck was not ready, I had to ask for the pads and the dolly that I had put on my reservation. He went and got the pads and set them down and then disappeared. I had to have my son put the stuff in the truck. The guy came back and said sorry he had to use the restroom !The guy was just very snotty and condescending . Was not very friendly , Either. He was new to this or he just doesn’t like his job. I will never run from that location again. It was a smog shop! I was changed from my original reservation, which was just down the street at a U-Haul and storage facility .They had me go down another 10 miles further to get a truck ! very unhappy with U-Haul and when we got in the truck, the gas light came on saying I had 30 miles left on the tank so I put in $25 fuel before I brought it back and they still charged me extra $2+. It just was not a good experience and I have used U-Haul for many many years. This was the worst. I put on my reservation that I needed the truck until five but the guy told me he was only there until two that I could just drop the key but with the experience that I had I didn’t trust that and so I rushed back to make it back by 2 o’clock Again , he was condescending and said well you didn’t even need to do that. Well, with how my check-in experience was,I wanted my receipt so that I could see if it was going to line up with what I was going to be emailed. I said something like well. The link that you sent me expired and I didn’t get to check the mileage or anything and he said well. The mileage is what the mileage is or what it’s gonna be.!!! it just was not a good experience! You need better representation U-Haul!!
