Inform customer of location weekend hours and the fee associated with after hours rental return. That is a U-Haul reservations issue not the location where the U-Haul was picked up. Outside of truck was dusty and dirty. Inside of truck was clean. Owners first line of revenue is clearly not U-Haul. As such, your concerns or issues are not their priority. Communication and customer service skills in my opinion were much greater when I visited a U-Haul only facility.

STEVEN MMake after hours return easier. Advise customer to read after hours return online procedure. I didn’t realize I had to take pictures of odometer readings an truck.

JOHN WI'm sure it's in the small print that there were additional fees for dropping off after hours, but that should have been mentioned. The girl also did not explain the return process and told me it would be easier for them to do it verses me doing self checkout, which again had I know I had to be at the location I would have done it myself.
DAWN MI had a 7am pickup and nobody showed up until 8:30am. They said Uhaul made a booking mistake. I hired 3 movers that sat at our storage unit that I had to pay for. Not good.

Lori HI dropped off after hours, so no one was there, but the key drop off area is well lit and easy to find. The requested improvement in no way reflects on either location. The app and the website were very difficult to navigate. When we tried to add equipment for the dolly, that somehow was removed from order despite being included in the quote, but whenever we clicked on add, the page would just refresh. Again, this was on both the mobile app and the website.
Michele GNot sure of the name of the gal who was there when we dropped off truck but she was a wonderful person. Very efficient and very kind! One of my first impressions of the good folks in Iowa and she was the best!!

ALEX BTimes are very difficult for everyone, and inflation is eating up most of our wages. I ran a U-Haul for 16 years. We have never charged an after-hour drop-off fee. I wish they would stop nickel and dime the customers.
Andy PTried to call 1800 uhaul to get help to return the truck do to faulty steering! Worse day ever Ended up leaving truck one hour after picking up no call back !! Plus i got charged for not using that uhaul! I plan on getting my money that's owed Real Soon!!!
ELIZABETH WThe truck was super dirty outside, not well maintained, there were strange sounds while driving and I was constantly afraid we were going to break down. We had to clean the window as soon as we got the truck. Additionally the radio does not work correctly. I feel I paid way too much for the rental for the condition of the vehicle. To be honest, it was just a beat up old truck and I was charged a price that should have been for a well maintained newer vehicle.

Sheldon DThe fellow there was not helpful. He pointed to the lot around the corner and said " the dolly is over there". I had to drive my motorhome over and hook up the dolly without any help or instructions. Not a good experience!

Michael NWevrented a small UHaul trailer yesterday morning...the equipment did not have a wire harness (for lights)... so we had to stop back to the office and get that....also, we only used the trailer three hours. ..(we hauled our new, (in the box), patio furniture six miles to our home) When we left the UHaul office Elvin commented, " you have to return the trailer within 24 hours"... I immediately said , "we'll have it back by noon". ..it was checked out at yesterday at 9:15 and returned at 12:15..( three hours later). Yet, we were charged a $20.00 late fee..stating that we had returned it late. It was not! Mary Mikula
mary mIt was hard to locate location because the cab driver couldn’t find any u-haul sign anywhere. We passed it and asked for directions. They need a viewable display of the U-Haul sign.
Dorothy AThe rental was great. We got a lower price by bringing the truck back to the valley rather than leaving it at our new location (White Mountains). They ended up charging for extra mileage which I thought was wrong since wee took a safer route that was a few more miles. We did this for our safety and the safety of the truck due to the snow.
Michael AThe store was closed the day I went to get my truck even though I had a reservation. Luckily a man was in the back and opened the store and rented me the truck. which was great since I also had movers scheduled from Uhaul to arrive. The movers were horrible but that's another story.
Timothy TI was told that the truck had 1/4 tank of gas in it when I went to pick it up. When I got into the truck the gasoline was barely above the empty mark. A walked around the vehicle and took video of its condition. That part was okay. As I start to drive Instantly I get the 45 miles until empty on the dash. This location is a 1 mile from the freeway. By the time I reached the onramp it read 39 mile until empty. I proceeded to go 5 more miles west before I had to get off the highway for fear of running out of gas. The gauge read 7 miles until empty. I put $50 in this truck to begin my trip. That got the gas meter to just between 1/4 and 1/2 a tank. I had 20 mile to go west. by the time I got to the destination The truck was already on the 1/4 line. Besides that this truck (TT7608E) has very bad alignment issues. You have to keep the wheel darn near pointed at ten o'clock just to go straight. So I did a return after hours and just noticed that I actually got charged for 20 extra miles I did not do. I have pictures that prove it. Plus 13.80 for fuel adjustment. After I returned it with more than I got it with. All in all this was such a bad experience I do think I will ever do business with Uhaul again, And will tell everyone I know not to as well. Thank you for your time.

JOHN OLow tire pressure light came on and service tire monitor system 15 minutes after we picked up vehicle. Stopped at another Uhaul location. Tires were checked and all tires had proper air. This information was on and off our whole trip. Pads - ordered one dozenm Got only 10 (2 partial bags) Inside of vehicle the dash was very dusty and Inside of windows not clean. Location had a white dog on counter running around when we picked up the truck. Unsanitary and not at all welcoming.
Marc PMy drop off time was it 8 o’clock, I dropped off the vehicle at 7:30. The guy working there didn’t process it until 830 so I got charged a late fee even though I returned it early. Not to mention I also got charged for returning it early.

john cI picked up a car hauler trailer from this location. The electrical connector was missing so I had to go back to the office to get one. I was surprised that no one hooked the trailer to my truck. The lady just told me where the trailer was parked and it was up to me to put it on and hook up the safety chains.

Terry WAdvise the customer that returning the vehicle later in the day than the time of day it was picked up will add another day of use. The contract was not exactly clear. The due date/time was May 1, 2022 and the days allowed were 5. The "out" time on 04/25/22 was 8:54 a.m. The "in" time was 11:07 a.m. on 04/30/22. After turn in, we were charged $40.00 for an additional day on the vehicle and $28.00 for an additional day of SafeMover coverage because the truck was checked in after 8:54 a.m. on April 30.

Raymond JWe had booked a 26' truck weeks in advance and were told a day before that the truck was not available! What is a reservation for? We were instead given 2 trucks and a trailer (the trailer from U-Haul in Chandler) and were able to get everything loaded and moved. HOWEVER, it took a lot more gas for 2 trucks instead of 1 truck, about $600 more expense. U-Haul should reimburse us for that extra gas.

Justin CThe website for checking in a vehicle is absolutely horrible it's as bad as it was over a year ago. I had to download the app in a dark parking lot at night to return my truck.
CHRISTOPHER CExtremely difficult to use the mobile 24/7 process to pick up my truck. Ended up having to track down an employee to help with every step. Truck was not located near the pickup. Couldn’t find the key lock box. Dolly was not in the truck. Couldn’t get in the truck because it was parked so close to another truck. Whole process took over 30 minutes. Next time I will use Home Depot!
Kristy NU-Haul representative was rude and unprofessional when I picked up the truck. He couldn't be bothered to get off his phone and seemed annoyed that I was even there. He also tried to upsell me on the Safe Mover coverage. I had to return the truck before the place opened, and even though I followed all the steps to return the truck after hours, the guy still charged me the $20 convenience fee. I had to use the Dispute Resolution feature to get a refund. Avoid this place if at all possible.
