The employees did not know how to rent a U-Haul. We were scheduled to pick up the U-Haul at 9am. Upon arrival, the employee requested that I return after 12pm when someone knowledgeable about renting U-Haul equipment was available. I refused, and to his credit, he did call for help and tried to work through the system on the phone, although it took over an hour to complete the process. The employee also refused to hook the trailer onto the tow vehicle because he did not know how to connect it. Upon inspecting the trailer, I found that the tongue was bent over 6 inches to the side and was unsafe to tow. This was the only trailer available. The employee did not know what to do, so I had to call U-Haul and arrange for a replacement trailer, which was only 30 minutes away. I then waited an additional 20 minutes while a corporate U-Haul employee guided the in-store employee on how to reverse the trailer rental. The only reason I rated this experience 2 stars is that the employee did eventually call and figure out how to process our rentals, but only after I insisted I would not wait an extra 3 hours.

Trailer was in bad shape an ended up blowing a tire. Back door bent an hard to open and close

Need better signage in front of the building. If it wasn’t for other U-Haul trucks in the yard, it would have been difficult to find.
