I will noy use the app again. I had to travel 10 unnecessary miles to get the truck from a location that is poorly managed and received no notification as to the changed pickup location.

Was supposed to pick up at 8am guy “forgot” to leave keys. When called him he kept saying “will be there in a few minutes”. He don’t arrive until 9am. While he was supposed to be helping me get the truck he talked on phone for 30 minutes. Didn’t leave until almost 10am. Apologized saying he was drinking all night long and was a zombie when I called asking for the keys. Place is dirty where they help customers. Mold on the ceiling and smells like car pee and dog. My rate was $228 and he tried saying it was $354 and when I showed him and said no it say $228 he told me the rates increased. I then told him I was calling U-Haul because this is ridiculous I’m not set back on pick up time and have to pay extra it makes no sense. When I pick up my phone and start to call he says “never mind your right I see what I did wrong” Location for drop off was supposed to be bowling green I confirmed it with him. Then when I went to drop it off I was told he set it for north fort myers. I could not return U-Haul on the app so I had to call U-Haul for them to switch it to bowling green but couldn’t drop it off until after they opened at 7am and needed to be back by 9:30am. So he set us 2 hours behind on the move and then after moving all day and wanting to return the truck that night we could not and had to wake up early to return the truck. Absolutely TERRIBLE service! So disappointed. Got refunded $50 to then be charged 17 for extra miles so a lousey $30 refund after all the crap I had to deal with.

LINDA BNothing to improve. Forget comments on “appearance” of an office, etc. intelligent customers want a clean truck a well functioning truck and a great price. You get home from here. This location was $100 a day less than the close Penske dealer. The truck was immaculate and function very well. This isn’t your old U-Haul with all have broken down trucks. This is the new U-Haul.

JAMES BThe only few problems the engine was on from the start I change the oil for the truck but still the engine lights are on and the transmission is very hard to reach the next gear it is almost like you are fighting to make the transmission move forward upd to the 5 or 6 RPM to reach the higher gear The truck needs repairs for engine and transmission and the location has an excellent customer service and friendly team and good management the only thing that it is under renovation with the new management so we are looking forward to get the rest of the services up and running as Uhaul store and services
Adel BThis was picked up at a very run down location. The trailer was in a field, overgrown with weeds. The person that was there had no idea we were coming and did not know what to do. He made a phone call and that person would not come to the location just told him to let us take it. We hooked it up on our own, received no paperwork. As we were traveling we noticed that the tail light did not work nor did the light for the license plate. We were also told this was the only trailer available at the last minute an hour away from us. On our way home we noticed several trailers located in a rental place very close to our home. I was charged a fee of $70 for insurance that I had no idea I was being charged for. I was also promised $50 refund for having to go out of my way, an hour away to pick up the trailer. Both of which I tried to dispute bout was told that the contract was open and we had to wait until it was returned . We will be calling tomorrow to try and get the charges removed.
DAWN SHorrible service. Lied and said I didn’t fill truck back up to full which I did. So they charged me for that. Waited till after I put keys in dropped box before coming out. Didn’t even look like there was anyone there looked like a ghost town. Kinda scary and creepy didn’t really feel safe to drop anything off. Poor lighting at night if you drop in the dark cause there is non. Won’t drop there again

Douglas OAdele is awesome he went over and above to make sure we had the equipment we needed when we needed it.I would recommend anyone needing uhaul equipment in or around Arcadia Fl to see Adele at Arcadia Truck Stop.

Ryan BOwner/manager was rude and rushed me to get off the lot.
Stephanie CHad a problem with the price. Said it would be $24.95 for a 24 hour period. I returned it to another place and they said it was double because it was a one way. I called the location that I rented it from and he said he would return the money from them. I said I would call U-Haul before he did that. I called U-Haul and reported a claim. I’m still waiting on a response from them.

Itez TI forgot how icky the Arcadia Truck Stop was. The young man who helped us was very nice and helpful. Would use one of the other Arcadia locations if needed again.

Jacqueline DIt rains a lot in this part of town. The yard was flooded. I tried to change my drop off location but because the scheduling department closes at 7 PM I had to drive back an hour. I was worried about being late so I managed to get someone in customer service to help me. By help me I mean incur another full day charge so I could get it back an hour late. There is no drop box at this location which is contradictory to the instructions. The lady was really helpful at the spot. After starting the day with difficulty, ending it painfully and with wet feet from the yard, then being charged for mileage on top of the reservation which I thought took that into consideration, $400 later was still cheaper than a moving service, but not by much, and honestly, the headache would have been worth the extra couple hundred bucks. The app is also a glitching nightmare. I had to uninstall and reinstall more than once just to get to my pick up and drop off process. I understand outsourcing is more cost effective, but maybe invest into checking your technologies and the facilities. U-Haul is not what it was even just a few years ago. But whatever, the move is done. Thanks for the truck and the test in patience and thankfulness. 🥲
