It took me 15-20 more minutes to access the truck. This location has key lockboxes however the app told me to go into the store and ask for the key. The cashiers confirmed they have nothing to do with the key. I had to call Uhaul and speak with a representative. We went through multiple key codes with both locks until one worked. I would suggest fixing the app so it provides the lock box code.

LINDA ZBusy gas station, not a good location for a person to drop off, especially not a lone female. Would not recommend this location. Felt unsafe and parking for the U-Hauls was the same as parking for the gas station's customers. Would have rather found a location with other UHaul services and customer service offered. Did not like the self-help option although it is nice to be able to drop off at your convenience.
ALEXANDRIA RIt was impossible to self check out. Too many hoops. Eventually had to call and get customer service. Still took more than 30 mins. No one told me I couldn’t have the truck until 10. When I made the reservation with a person I told him between 8 & 9. 2 days before my reservation I was called and told that location wouldn’t have my truck and I had to go 11 miles further. Unless you know a shortcut, it was more than 20 miles. I arrived at 9 and it was 10:45 before I had the truck and was able to leave. This experience was unacceptable. 2 different people gave me $50 off for my inconvenience, still not worth it.
