I am very dissatisfied with the service we received from the sales person on site. We offered to return the trailer to the original location knowing that the rate for dropping off at the original location was considerably less than dropping the trailer off in another town. We asked the salesman what our rate would be, and he quoted us the same rate as for dropping it off in another town. His comment was that he didn’t care where we were dropping it off. The 4 day rate for renting the trailer was $99.80 + gst. He insisted on charging us the rate to drop it off in another town. Rate was $402 + gst. I feel U-Haul owes us around $300. This is unacceptable service. When the customer is willing to return the trailer to the original pick up location, the price should reflect that. The trailer was old and needs a paint job.
