CHARLES BThe self-check in process was the worst check in experience I have ever had. Neither the app or website was working due to an “internal error” it took 45 minutes for us to check in. It was also not made clear to us that we needed additional “assurances” such as passport, another contact, a lease agreement, etc to check in. Will not be recommending using the app to others

Carla TThey made me wait when I went to pick up the car, and after returning the car, they overcharged me with a fuel service fee of $30 and a fuel charge of $28.75 for 14L, claiming that the fuel level was different from before. Since they had my credit card information, they were able to adjust the charges as they pleased

RIGOBERTO CMy in person pickup experience with this location was great. However, the mobile drop off option should not exist. The U-Haul app is almost unusable.
DAWN CI had a wonderfu experience. Pick went very well. I was able to extend my rental with no issues and the return was very easy. Everything was expain to me to make sure I was aware of the charges and agreed before the charge. I wil use ocation again.
Carla TI had a super hard time trying to pick up the truck through the app, took over 45 minutes. Everything else was fine but that experience was not great.

Rohit SExcellent location. The folks here know exactly what they are doing and they do it well. Arnies Grocery is basically surrounded on all sides by apartments so folks are always dropping off trucks.

PAUL KThe folks handled the rental very well. The only issue I had was that they did not receive the info I submitted on your website. Also, you need to put a ‘skip’ button in your website as we had to go through multiple pages of stuff we didn’t need (blankets, boxes, etc) to get to the page to submit. It was annoying.

Tahmid WI’ve rented trucks twice from this location, and I picked it because of the good reviews. The store owners are clearly very experienced with uhaul and service is always friendly, quick and efficient. No issues with picking up or dropping off.
Leah CWhen dropping the vehicle back off, there was nowhere to leave it. Other vehicles were being rented at the time and we were told to leave it in a 'no parking' zone in front of an apartment building. We tried telling the person when dropping it off about issues with the gears etc, but he did not want to listen and it was also very difficult to understand him as English was his second language. When we went in to finish with the paperwork we were told by a woman in the store that we had not left the gas amount as we had left it. We think we did. It just under a 1/4 full, we put in $45 gas and went only about 60 miles/100 km. We were going to be charged $31.15 gas and $30 service fee. By this time we were so frustrated that she just charged us the $30 service fee. We do NOT feel we should have had to pay anything. Perhaps taking a picture of the gas guage at the beginning might be something your people should do to give a better reading. This drop off location was at a fairly busy corner grocery store so neither we nor the other patrons got good service.

John WThis location is a bodega in a very congested residential area with street parking on both sides of the street. The app told me to park the truck in the parking lot of the locaiton, but there is no parking lot - just a driveway in back of the store. The driveway was probably not big enough for the 20 foot truck I rented. I had to parallel park the truck on the steet near the store, along with several other people dropping off their trucks at the same time. This is NOT a good equipment drop-off location! The staff in the store were helpful and did their best, but this should not be considered a reasonable place to drop off a full-sized U-haul truck!

John WMaybe they could go on a course for politeness, customer service, in general, how not to be rude to those who maybe helping with your pay cheque. Rude from start to finish, always have been. Only reason I go there is because I don't need to interact with them except this time when your app wouldn't work
Thomas MThe truck was clean and available early for pickup, but the location was 17km away from where I reserved the vehicle, which I was notified of the day before pickup. The truck engine required a tune up it had a significant rough idle and a significant vibration issue.
Bill SThe mobile app experience is a real shit show. The app didn't work on Android, so I had to go home find me old iPhone, then I was put on old, waited forever to get approved. I gave up and went to the store so they could check me in. Please fix this awefull app experience, this is sooo bad. Sorry but something need to be better, won't be renting from uhaul next time.
Guillaume BThe online check in is good but not great. I had to resubmit my pictures multiple times because of server problems. Reserving the truck doesn’t work does not work in the iPhone app. Some pop up from the site blocked the screen on the app browser so I had to switch to safari. It’s hard to find the fuel refill chart when you pick up online. After returning the truck my receipt wasn’t updated. It was still showing me the same quote

The truck has a tire service warning and it leaked, when the truck was returned, the owner advised that he was aware of all these items, after lodging a complaint, the area manager advised the the fuel gage would read differently on an incline..... REALLY!!!.. apparently due to me not actually having proof that the truck leaked and my items all got wet.. it never happened. Will never use them again
