Charlotte FThe only return site provided for my one way rental was a truck repair company in a nearby small town. Even though this was on a week day and normal business hours, the site was unmanned. As on two prior unmanned uHaul returns, the online link would not work correctly, claiming the location services were turned off even when they were actually turned on. As on the other occasions, I videoed the entire truck, interior, mileage, and gas gauge clearly showing that all was on time and there was no damage, but with such an expensive piece of equipment it is disconcerting to just lock it and drop the key in a box without any official contact, leaving the renter potentially at great liability. Fortunately, I've gotten subsequent emai receipts from UHaul that all was fine, but in this last case, the drop off spot was in a rural area with very poor internet cell service make things even more disconcerting.

Scott HThey omitted the furniture dolly that I needed, which caused me to drive an extra 40 or so miles. The location was so dark I could barely see. The mobile app was terrible. I took more that 10 times to upload my license. Terrible experience!
John MIt took us 2 hours to complete the online process when we picked up the truck. No one was at the location to help us. After 3 phone calls and assistance from u haul customer service, we were able to finish the process on our android phone. They also added the 2 lost hours to our rental time so all was good. Just a couple aggravating hours to start our busy day.

Joshua BIt has always been my understanding that if operating a business, one should be present. There was no one on premises when I returned the rental trailer on Saturday during normal business hours. I returned the trailer via phone, which to a feeling doubt as to whether the return truly registered.

Melanie WOwner has a poor attitude towards customers. He argued about everything. Then the business was closed for a full day midweek and charges were levied that were wrong. i scheduled my truck for 3 days due back on Thursday but finished on Tuesday afternoon. ghe business was closed at 4:15pm after not opening until 9am. Then he was closed on Wednesday without notice. He had no idea when I turned my truck in so charged me the full rental. I couldn't do the mobile check-in because I locked my cell phone in the truck and couldn't get it until Thursday morning. i sent an email to the appropriate place at uhaul but i guarantee that you will cheat me out of my 30 bucks. i will never rent from u-haul again if i have to rent from ashby truck repair again.
Walter LOnline ordering was not good. Did not realize I had reserved a “local” only truck. Staff were helpful and found me a one-way truck 30 minutes away in Maryland. Just need to be clearer on the website. Truck in Maryland did not have the blankets that I ordered also
Nathan KThis location was not prepared for the pick up. That said, it was a secondary location after Uhaul failed to honor the original pickup location, forcing me to drive 3 hours to pick up the truck. My interaction with Britany at Uhaul was less than positive. She was dismissive and did not offer to provide any assistance. In fact, I told her to needed to figure out the logistics of picking up the truck at the new location and would have to call her back in 30 minutes. In that time, she cancelled to order all together. When I called back and found this out, I dealt with Isabella, who was very helpful and found a truck - still requiring a 3 hour drive. FYI, the truck was being used to move a member of the military to Florida. In the future I will not recommend Uhaul because of how poorly we were treated. Britany should be reprimanded.
