The individual whom I dealt with at this location was extremely friendly, professional and explained the drop-off after hours thoroughly. The truck was clean, however it was a bit dusty and had pet hair on the passenger seat. The truck's left turn signal was hyper flashing and upon pick-up and I noticed the right side blind-spot mirror was cracked, but this was also visible in their rental photos so I was not worried. Overall the truck was in great condition and as clean as you can expect them to be, the location has friendly and professional staff, 10/10 would recommend.Abdulrahman J.
This was the first time renting a trailer from you.. I ordered a 5x8 on Aug 21. online for this to be the pickup location and noticed this was the closest to where I live and the availability was guaranteed...Why is it that two days before pickup(Aug 30th), uhaul calls me to say that no trailers are available at that location. In fact they said the closest location that has the trailer I requested was 214 kms away. Unfortunately I really needed it and didn't have time to look for another rental company on short notice. So other then a 10 min drive to pick it up and paying just a rental price, It ended up costing in me $100 in gas and a 5 hr. drive(to Huntsville Ont and back to Markham Ont). Not impressed with this being the first time experience with Uhaul......Dale R.

The online precheck and checkout portion was interesting, though I picked up my keys and car on different days, I wasn't allowed to perform the pre check at the time of my choosing. This was already explained to the owner of the shop that would be doing this, but the day I picked up the vehicle and performed the pre-check, I was told that my session had expired and that I needed to contact the team behind the rental. Unfortunately they were closed on the day of the pickup. Anyways not a complaint by any means. Overall still a great service and experience.Winston S.

The vehicle front glass was covered in Tree sap, it took a very long time to clean the hindrance. It was so bad the visibility was tremendously affected. The vehicle should have been cleaned especially with the visible mess in the glass. I think I should be refunded since I should not be cleaning someone else's mess before being able to use the vehicle as it was a safety concern.Krishna B.

I received a truck that was not cleaned. Yes, there was no garbage in it, but you would think so construction crew had it before me. When I returned it (over filled), I was still charged extra $14 for gas! When inquired, I was told the guy in the morning must have been sleepy, call the customer service! I was waited with for customer service for an hour! I gave up and emailed them my contract, before and after pictures. It has been 2 days and no response from uhaul!Kaveh O.
After I was told my appointment for one way would no longer work and I needed to contact head office to make an appointment, I spent an hour on hold to be told that there were no trucks available for one way around me. Agreed to book a truck and return it to same location to walk in to office and have all U-Haul workers on lunch for over an hour. Left and called this office who had a truck available. Better customer service and less â€˜system shut downs' that impacted one way bookings.Mitchell D.

It was unclear as to which location I needed to pick up the truck in Markham. Order said one thing but confirmation email said another. I had to call and wait in hood for 12 mins before someone was able to assist me. The person who helped me was fantastic though.Elyssa H.

Rude operator. Has door open at 8:50.. I walk in to return. He tells me he will send me the invoice in 10 minut s. He tells me to get out and wait until 9am. Not sure why he has door open. Then he never sends it to me. I called him at noon and he was again rude and a prick.mazitar H.

The van had 3 warning lights on , and the smell of nicotine was unbearable and of course no sanitize against COVID 19, i sanitize the entire cabin. I had no choice but rent this van cause time frame for the move. Very disappointedMAOCIADES Q.

Absolutely unhappy!! It was a big move for the family and we used Uhaul!! First of all the fuel was below half tank when I took it .. I returned it with almosttt the same amount of fuel for which they charged fuel charges of 30$ .. absolutely unacceptable because I had already put in fuel of 40$ as I used fuel worth $40 only. Going for Home Depot next time for any family or friends and not UhaulNEHA R.

All furniture blankets were wet and dirty - full of leaves and dirt. I had to wash them and dry them before I could use them. I was charged for a rental item which I did not use/take - the furniture dolly.ALLEN V.

They downsized the truck I reserved without asking me. I selected dropping off in a different location but when I was at the counter they told me I had to send the car back to the same location. I paid full day fee just because I can return to a different location, otherwise I would just pay by km which would have saved me $100. I felt like I was being scammed, very disappointed.Simeng L.

I placed order to include 2 furniture dolly but end up I didn't receive it when I pick up the truck and Uhaul did charge me for it and I have reported two times with Uhaul plus this time 3times already regarding this issue and still couldn't get the response from Uhaul yet. Truck has been picked up with trash in the driver compartment. Dropped off as is and being invoiced for $30 cleaning fee. Called and called and called with no pickups. Got one call through and the guy said he would call back in ten minutes however no call back after. Been calling back the place and still no pick ups. This place has one of the worst customer service in town. Will never go back again or recommend any of my friends and acquaintances to go here. Will be leaving a negative review on Google for this place too.CHUCK F.
I reserved for Richmond Hill but ended up getting sent to Markham. It ultimately added a lot of KMs and gas charges to my rental and doubled the cost. Very unethical of Uhaul to sell a booking, overbook, then switch last minute. This is bait and switch.Calvin K.

I originally booked for my truck at D Drive car rental at Markham road, however I was told my truck not there and I had to go down to 1 Masseyfield Gate which is Warden and steeles location, I have no idea why and no one called me in advance about this? This isnt my first time booking to pick up at Markham road location, this is my third time, so I have no clue why they would think I want to go further away to pick up? It is a bad experience and frustrated for me that day.Anthony L.

I was told that a trailer was available at a MUCH closer location to me....at my preferred location actually, only to be lured to this location, by promise of guaranteed availability. It was 35 minutes away from me. The people were friendly and helpful, but my on line check in was not adhered to, which made me wonder why I bothered.KARL L.

It has been a couple of days since I returned the truck and I still have not received an invoice. I tried calling the 1-800 U haul number and was on hold for 20 minutes+. When I finally got a rep she put me on hold as she stated that she had to transfer me to customer service. I waited another 20 minutes+ and got fed-up and hung up.Robin C.
So many issues. You charged double the amount quoted. 1 day rental and you charged 2 days. Reserved at Aurora. Showed up to pickup the trailer and was told no equipment available. No advanced notice of this change. Incompetent and dishonest staff and owner at this location. Was told a Trailer was available at 9661 markham rd in Markham. Wrong address. Uhaul is 9331 and closed on Saturday. Then told it was a 1 masseyfield. Contract to return next day, but office is closed with no instructions on how to return. Called customer service and felt like we were inconviencing them by asking questions. In summary, this was a horrific and dreadful experience. Very disappointed. Uninterested, Incompetent, Dishonest and overall poor service.Rob T.

Will never use the mobile pick up service ever again. It did not work at all and uhaul customer service didn't help either. They put me on hold for about 20 minutes and cut me off !! Had to wait almost 1.5 hours outside till the rental opened and manually picked up the keys.Dinu P.
