A customer should NOT have to spend 20-30 minutes digging the truck out of a snowbank (driver's side door was not accessible!) I want a rebate of at least $40.00! Clearing snow from the windshield could also have been done in advance. 2 wheel cart once again rolling around back of truck. POOR customer service!

The rear door needs lubrication as it is VERY hard to pull down. Red 2 wheeled cart was rolling around in back of truck. Previous user transported flowers-many white flower petals were on floor in the cab.

Mobile pickup location was good & truck was clearly accessible. Took about 10min to open the U-Haul lock to get the keys, which wasn't ideal.

They offered $90 if I dropped off the truck at their store. Not only have I not received that, but they charged for gas while I returned the truck at the exact level of gas that I picked that up; this store is obviously a fraudster

I have booked with U-Haul a bunch of times now but the truck I got this time was in very poor condition. The steering wheel vibrated like anything and the engine made a noise. I’m pretty sure it wasn’t fuel efficient anymore considering the amount of fuel we had to refill vs the miles driven. My past experiences have always been smooth but this one was not.

Truck was dirty on the inside and out. Windshield was so dirty I had to stop and clean it as the glare created by the dirt was hard to look thru and was creating eye strain

Just review the way to pick up the vehicles. I expend more than 20 min to try to check-in using the App, but after 20 minutes, the representative told me that the App didn't work fine, and help me to do check-in. Other thing is the rear door of the truck did not work fine.

I had to take pictures to protect myself from liability because the padlock would not open. When I returned the truck after business hours I had to do so without locking the back lift gate. I have not yet been able to contact the rental agency today about this matter. No one is answering.

I booked the truck for 8am but they did not have the keys in the lock box. I had to wait until 9am when the store opened and the employee came to work to get the keys from inside the store. When you have an elevator booked at a condo your time is limited so having to wait an hour was really disappointing.

The 26' truck that we rented was absolutely filthy. I had to spend 1.5 hours cleaning the entire storage area of the truck before I could use it. I would appreciate it if someone from Uhaul would contact me.

due to the fact that u-haul initiated a last minute change to my vehicle and also screwed up my reservation, i was promised a reduced flat fee + insurance which totaled to about $141. i dropped off the truck on time at the agreed upon location back in december, and i just received an additional charge of $280.24 in april. i've already reached out to customer service and they filed a dispute on my behalf (ref: 4702502). based on the invoice, the charge is for 1 week of usage but i only had the truck for 2 days. i'm not sure if this was due to some clerical error but it really sucks and i feel like i was taken advantage of. why am i being charged 4 months later?

Booked on-line to have a dolly with the truck but it wasn't there, make the moving process way harder than it had to be... Used the app to check-in and checking out and the least I can say it was very unpleasant experience... That could be improved a lot...

Please make sure that the truck is in a "ready-to-go" state... I had to spend first 20-30 minutes clearing the snow/ice off the windshield and window before it is even safe to drive. The girl at the counter was nice enough to lend me the brush (which they were selling), that actually broke due to the snow/ice being very heavy. I bought a replacement from dollarama. For someone to spend almost $300 for a half-day rental, I would expect not having to do all of that..

Poor customer service, booked a cargo van on-line for this location on June 30 at 11 am for my move, got there no van, offered a solution by calling U haul customer service, of course on hold over 30 mins. I noticed a pick up truck at the parking lot & asked can I get that? She said yes but need to return at 2 pm, I have no other choice, as my condo elevator booking only 2.5 hrs window. By the time I left it was almost 12 pm, only able to move a mattress & bedframe the rest of the furniture I left them, and due to long weekend I can’t book another elevator until July 3, and my landlord has a new tenant on July 1. NEVER Again I rented from UHaul! Thanks so now I lost most of my furniture!

The lady was friendly and so calm! It would be great if the miles vs km pricing was explicit on the website and by the person at the front desk. Seeing the price for km online and then charged via miles was confusing. But it worked out the same price and when i called in, the lady took time to explain it to me, I appreciate that. Everything did fit in the truck, I was worried it might not. It was easy to use the system online to get a quote and i like the ease to get a quote and book, especially during a stressful time (moving is always stressful). I like i didn't have to pay online but rather when I got there to pick it up.

Location was fine and vehicle was clean. Sort of clean. Pens and old papers on the cab floor, dirt in the centre console etc, but ok, it is a truck. BUT the van was a 119,00 miles (200,000 KM) beat up, worn out, basic run down old truck. I hire lots of trucks from lots of places and have held a full truck licence in Europe for the last 30 years. This was a whiny, noisy old vehicle. It should be taken off the fleet and not rented out at all. It is so below the standards offered elsewhere. It also came with only a 1/4 tank of fuel. So i had to guess at how much to add to end up back at 1/4 tank. I left it with 1/2 tank. Only an extra $50 for me, but means the location charged the prior renter and are now making up more money as i will get no credit. Trucks should be rented full of fuel! Most folks will not risk leaving it with less, so over half a dozen or less rentals it will miraculously be full again. This is just not great. I use UHaul a lot and the location were great people- but they just need to refuel their vehicles before a rental and replace old worn out ones for newer models. It was also Arizona registered. Great - but the speedo i in miles per hor. Canada, like the rest of the world, went metric decades ago. It is nigh on impossible to see the small KM fuel dial so the risk of having speeding issues increases. Oh and the wire guides to raise and lower the back were broken on one side and clearly had been for a long time which just screams lack of maintenance to me. All in all- get rid of this vehicle DC1480L. It is a disgrace and should not be in any modern rental fleet.

UHaul got my online order wrong and provided a dolly I did not order or want and failed to provide the blankets I needed and ordered. Given my move had material that had to have protection I had to buy blankets from the furniture supplier having no choice. Thos pickup location has no stock of supplies...a costly inconvenience!

1. Tire pressure low warning was ON for most of the time during my 8hr drive on dash- even after filling it up to 48psi. Had to stop multiple times to make sure tire is OK to drive. 2. Vehicle was not clean - chips bag, water bottles & etc were in door side pockets. Seats were not vacumed. 3. Windshield washer fluid sensor wasn't working(if the vehicle had one). Had to pull off on highway to fill. 4. The main one was the windy noise from 2 holes next to vent on driver side. It was very annoying and distracting while driving. Roadside assistance advised me to ask for discount as they couldn't help during my drive. I am still waiting for Uhaul to contact me for this discount as my neighbourhood dealer mentioned that Uhaul headoffice will contact me on this issue(discount) as he was not authorized to apply the discount. Looking forward for Uhaul team to compensate the inconvenience caused during my trip. Thank you!

This is the worst experience I ever had. I used 1 and a half to pick up and half an hour to drop off. The system stop on taking photo of my license. I called in, the first operator dropped my phone after I held for 25 mins. The second operator did not help me putting through the process, she said she cannot take my pictures from email, then passed me to the other operator and asked me to pick up the truck at the other location with life person on site, At the end, the last operator gave me a link, took my pictures of my license, and patiently waiting for me to open the lock box and I finally got my key for the truck When I dropped off, the mobile app did not work again. I waited 30 mins to get to the operator, he was helpful and again patiently waited for me to drop of the truck. I don't know it was my phone network or your company's network, but when I ask the second operator to attach my info into system, she refused and passed me to someone else, and luckily the 3rd operator helped me The whole process was so stressful, and I missed the time of the elevator. Finally I need so much work to ask my security to allow me to use the elevator. I wish your system can be easier to use, and I may not consider to use online app if I need Uhaul again.

The truck I rented immediately needs wheel balancing. I had to keep constant clockwise (turn right) pressure all the while driving to keep the truck moving straight. That's was very fatiguing. Otherwise the truck was clean and functional. The pickup location informed me that they do not have the blankets when I went in to pickup the truck. If I would have been informed earlier I would have made alternate arrangements.

I can’t believe they left a 1 foot of snow and frozen ice covered over the front of the car. I had to go and buy a car brush so I can remove the frozen ice from the windshield. Also the back of the unit had a frozen black ice never been serviced, I slipped as I was walking to lock box to get the key. I wasted over 30 minutes.

I would never recommend this location to anyone. The person working there was rude and threatened me that I won't be able to rent a truck ever if I didn't return it as per his timings. I informed the rude person I was willing to pay extra because the moving took longer than expected. Additionally I was charged a cleaning fee by this pathetic location when I clearly cleaned the truck before dropping it off. I read the reviews online and I don't understand why uhaul continues to work with such arrogant, misguided people who do not care about their customers. I ended up paying $240 for less than 24 hours of usage. Never ever going to this location and never considering renting uhaul again. Better options with better people/rates out there. Do look into who uhaul is working with. This location is ripping people off!!!!!
