The truck needs an oil change. When I got in the vehicle the tire pressure light was on, so I put air in the tires to the recommended amount from the plate inside the drivers door. Going through the dash information, the oil life was at 0% meaning that it needs an oil change.

The cell phone check in process was terrible, most if not all questions during the check in could have been filled out in advance instead of taking 30 minutes of my day to fill out parked beside the truck. Having to call someone to verify my identity at 7 AM is not ideal. Additionally having the advertisement sign in the window required me to hold on to it and not damage it during my move, one more thing I didn't need to worry about while moving.

I would have preferred another location but this was okay. There isn’t a lot of space to park the uhaul (or leave your car). It was diificult to walk around the vehicle because of the fence and take good pictures. The truck could have been cleaner but it wasnt outrageous.

This facility did fine, but it was my second rental reservation. My original reservation was cancelled the day before I needed it because the actual trailer I really wanted was unavailable - this was after spending over 20 minutes on hold trying to speak to someone. Only to finally have someone tell me they couldn't help but they would send an email to have someone call me - which never happened. Absolute worst customer experience ever.

Try not to overcharge for using the U-Haul after it has been returned just because you are closed on the weekend. it's not good to charge a customer for 2 days when the U-Haul was returned that same day This is bad customer service. I left a message stating that we returned the U-Haul.

This location was incredibly shady, dirty, and dangerous. Down the street to this location was a group of people with "private property" spray painted on a dumpster with about half a dozen men walking up and down the street looking into people's car and shouting at them. Of course UHAUL is not responsible for these people's behavior but if stuff like that is common they should consider dropping the location to protect the safety of their customers. The shop itself had a padlocked gate and was completely surrounded in barbed wire. I could not access the after hours key drop box. This is completely unacceptable as an approved UHAUL location.

Don’t know. I guess it could be free lolll in a perfect world… however, There was great customer service from registering to pick up. Not my 1st U Haul rodeo so I know the difference. Jack, at the pick up was very considerate and patient ensuring we had everything we needed and clear on our drop off.

This location was ragged and beat down...looked more like a salvage yard than a u haul location. I knew they were closed and had 24 hr drop off. Upon arrival...the fence was barely open wide enough to get my vehicle through. There was no where to park the trailer. I had to make room in a random corner on unlevel ground, had to chock the wheels to keep it from rolling.

Location is isolated, and there is a mechanical shop that is making the adjacent area look like a junker. Phone signal is limited, truck was picked up outside the location’s fence and left outside the fence “Gates were closed” which I feel not a secured because the truck is exposed to vandalism. This 24/7 process and phone application is the most annoying thing ever.

While the two persons that I interacted with at this location and the person at the drop off location in Durham were top notch and help me with all my problems. The experience with this reservation couldn’t have been worse. A reservation made months ago was changed I suspect by a person in the scheduling/traffic that called me and inform me of a change in pickup location (not a big deal) without making abundantly clear that she had changed the time of the reservation from 8am to 3pm (a huge deal). Trying to call to change it back got me, I suspect, the same person being rude and telling me nothing could be done. Furthermore this person, that the employees I saw in person told me needed at least retraining, assigned me a truck that was supposed to be returned at 3pm, that is the same time I was supposed to pick it up. Obviously it wasn’t available and making my pickup even later. Forcing to make the long drive at night and the unloading of the truck the next day. Upsetting all my plans.

The person took the truck and told us we'd receive an email that the truck was returned shortly. We returned it Friday at 5:30pm. Our confirmation that the truck was returned wasn't received until 12:30pm the next day (well after it was due). We even called and messaged Friday night to check that there weren't any issues and the people who responded were not able to confirm the return of the truck was in their system.

Order was placed for a 20' truck and a 26' truck was provided. Asked about why the ordered truck was different from the truck available and there was no explanation. Also asked if a military/veteran discount was available and was told that that would be applied once the truck was returned

We used my wife’s card when doing online order but I had to show a card again when picking up. I didn’t know about this & had to use a different card. Small detail but irritating. I should be due a partial credit of $12.33, as we put fewer miles on truck than expected. That should have gone to my card when final receipt was issued. I first paid $90.98. Receipt us for 78.65.

didn't appreciate the phone call the day before that the truck might not be available for when I requested. Then the items I requested were not present when I picked up the truck. Took about 2.5 hours for me to get a couple of dollies. I do appreciate the guy who brought them to my apartment.

Pickup process was a pain and filled with bugs. Truck had lots of pre-existing damage and was covered in mud, there was also mud inside the truck. Drop off process was difficult. Website did not work as intended.
