I would just put the uhaul sticker on the right door bc I was standing in the wrong office (this location is also a car dealership) because it had the uhaul sticker on this door instead of the other one. Great service though! The guy was very nice and made sure to explain everything.

Was not given military discount even though I've always gotten one from uhaul, no one walked around the truck with me like they were supposed to, customer service rude!

I was charged a $25 cleaning fee. The truck was full of dog hair when we picked it up. The time it would take to complain isn’t worth trying to get back the $25. I would still rent from uhaul again. The truck drove well and was surprisingly good on gas.

The people were as nice as can be but my issue was with the fact that I was given a location that I hade to drive right past two others to get to this one. This could have been a 5 minute drive for me rather than a half hour drive.

The gas hand was lower than it said on my receipt so I didn’t see until I was a mile away from where I picked it up....therefor I had to put in more gas than I used. The guy that sold me the truck was busy on his cell phone to go check out the truck and inspect it...I had to ask him to get up to come look at truck for damaged. He was very nice but jus not what I’m used to with uhaul.

I had to go back the day after my reservation was schedule because no one was there. Then the 2nd day no one was there. I waited and called customer service and after 30 minutes someone showed up. When I returned the equipment. No one was there. Poor service. When called customer to report issues and confirm equipment was being returned. I asked for a manager. The new meet was was given was out of service. This was not a good look

I was supposed to receive a discount for agreeing to pick-up at this location versus Chapel Hill. I sent two follow-up emails and heard nothing back from the dispatcher. Very disappointed with this.

U-Haul trailer must have had bad wheel bearings as it squeaked LOUDLY for the last 200 miles of the trip. I thought the car's transmission was failing. It turns out that when i got rid of the trailer, the noise stopped. This was annoying as I had to drive the last 200 miles at 50mph as I was afraid the car or trailer would fail.

When I signed up on February 29th, I learned that the one-way rate was approximately the same price as two-way, so I changed my reservation to one-way. At some point between February 29th and my pick up day of March 5th, they cancelled my order. When I called to verify on March 4th, that was when they said my reservation was cancelled but did not explain why. After calling Penske and Ryder, I learned that U-Haul was the only option. I called the location back to get a location, but they would not give me my preferred location, approximately four miles from my house. Instead, I had to go 12 miles. This was going to cause my mileage to go over 75 miles, which was the maximum allowed "free" miles. I told them they were going to make me go over, and they said there was nothing they could do. I found out they did not have a truck at the location 12 miles away either. I was about to have my dad put his open trailer on his truck and drive to me, because this was getting ridiculous. The guy on the phone FINALLY got me a truck at the 12-mile-away location. When I arrived at 1 p.m., the U-Haul representative was NOT there. This place was dirty, grungy, and it was NOT a U-Haul center - it was a junkyard. I waited until 1:23 p.m. before he arrived. It took until 2:05 p.m. for me to get my truck, and I reported it to the supervisor. The supervisor on the phone finally gave me a discount, and I paid $132 instead of $171. I will NEVER get U-Haul again. I will go out of my way to get a Penske or Ryder out of the next town (50 miles away) just so I don't have to deal with this. This is the worst customer service from a company I'd ever had.

The lady who checked us in also runs an inspection station for N.C. auto's--she recommended a inspection which it turned out we didn't need--wasted $30.00 She also had to call someone doing body work there to assist with trailer removal.

Just N Time Quick Lube Auto Repair & Tire has very friendly staff. They feel like family. Thank you for helping me with this experience, as the actual Uhaul company (scheduling) did not do a good job explaining the mileage, mixed up my order, and my month long planning was in vain.

It's interesting that you don't ask whether the Pick Up Location was clean and inviting - it was neither. There was a TV blaring so loudly I had to ask the representative to repeat himself more than once. And he didn't turn the TV down until I was nearly ready to leave. Additionally, I'd asked for a pick-up location in Chapel Hill (where I was moving from) and was re-routed to Durham (a solid 20 to 30 minutes from my residence) and I would have MUCH preferred that U-Haul added the miles from the pick-up location to my residence to the estimate mileage I needed to keep under (and without charging me more, it's not fault my fault my request was rerouted to Durham because of vandalism). I also don't want to be rushed and hurried through the process of looking over forms I'm signing as I was at this pick-up location. Renting a moving truck wasn't inexpensive and I want the time to look over forms to understand my responsibilities, rather than being told to "initial, initial, sign" and have someone balk because I took a minute to read over the document. I used U-Haul instead of hiring professional movers as I have done previously and this experience did not inspire confidence to use U-Haul again.

It was listed as a 24 hour drop off service and the place was closed. Unfortunately the location would have been excellent but the overpass to the interstate is closed so it has limited access at this time, that should change though.

The UHaul I rented was not available for me to rent when I went to get it. An associate called me and told me that the previous renter have not returned and I have to wait until he returned it. He returned 4 hours later than he should have. Do not rent from this location.
