Cameron Y.Well...the only issue I saw that could be better are the questions on the survey, it says that by answering them it will help with mine and other ppls next rental experience...but the 3 questions I was given were very vague and didn't really get into my rental experience, even tho it was a good experience, nothing in the survey really let me express more than simple responses, other than that...i saw little room for improvement, evrything was streamline and on point, keep up the good work, thanks

BETH C.The location that we picked the truck up from (Aww Auto Rental) could not have been more helpful. The owners were very nice and helped us when U-Haul told us our reservation didn't mean anything (will get into that in a second). They helped us with finding a new truck. Now onto U-Haul, and their costumer service and experience. Was absolutely horrible. We were told we would receive a call two to one day before our reservation date. We never received this call and actually tried calling U-Haul ourselves but we're put on hold the whole time. We weren't able to find where to go to pick up our truck other than where we made the reservation (U-Haul). They didn't have a truck there and called U-Haul for us. He was then put on hold for 20min and then hung up on… then he called again and was put on hold for another 30min until we finally were bounced around to someone within your company that could tell us where we could get our truck. Whoever the person on the phone was needs training in costumer service or to find a new career choice. He had told us that despite our reservation made a month in advance, that you all had no new trucks until that Sunday (two days after our reservation date) and that there was nothing they could do to help us. We had family members that were driving out of state to help us and a land lord expecting us to be out of our apartment by the day of our reservation and we were stuck. I asked what the point of a reservation was, why we never received a call earlier about no trucks in the area, and if they could do anything for us. The response I received was rude and full of excuses. We were told that they were just soooo busy to do their job basically and that they couldn't make that many phone calls to reach us and tell us. No “I apologize we should have called and there is no reason we couldn'tâ€, but instead basically a “I forgot to do my job and we felt too busy to careâ€. I was obviously upset by this response and he continued to argue me on the matter as though U-Haul was not at fault. The worst experience I have had with anyone in costumer service. Sometimes a simple “I apologize we messed up†is all that is necessary… not fighting the costumer and coming up with excuses. Suffice to say, U-Haul made no effort to find us a truck in the area and just told us we were on our own. Again, the worst experience we have had to date with a moving company. I want to clarify, the Aww Auto Rental in Marion Indiana was the ones that helped us and was able to get us another truck. They were the ones that called asking about another truck in the area and even told us to go to a possible competitor as they knew our situation and that we needed a truck. They found us a bigger truck than we had reserved and gave us the same price as the previous one. They were nothing but helpful and made it possible for us to move. In regards to U-Haul, I think they should really take a look at how they treat their costumers, and with that who they hire to handle the phones. Definitely need a ton more training for their job.

scott J.We reserved the truck over a month in advance but two days before we were to pick it up we were called and told it would not be available at the location we reserved it at. We then had to drive 30 miles away to pick it up. When we arrived it was not yet available. We had to wait 30 minutes for the truck to arrive from the previous renters and the owner did not have time to clean it before releasing it to us. The owner was very kind and was not informed that we would be picking the truck up.
