My initial experience in renting the cargo van was excellent. The staff person (Algene, I believe) was extremely helpful in helping me arrange the rental at a price that I felt was reasonable and manageable. The nearly new (only slightly more than 5000 miles) was clean and appeared to be in very good condition. The van drove well, with the very significant exception that the cruise control would not work on a consistent basis. It would work perhaps 20% of the times that I tried it. Approximately 300 miles into my trip, a notice to service the traction control posted on the dash. After driving approximately 640 miles to my destination, a family member followed me for a few miles, and said that the brake light did not go off at any time. I called 1-800-GO UHAUL at 9:00 pm Sunday, August 4, and waited 34 minutes on hold without receiving an answer. When I tested the van the following morning, the brake lights functioned properly, so I risked the return trip home instead of taking it to a UHAUL Center. However, the cruise control continued to work only sporadically, and I later learned that the brake light again did not function properly. After about 250 miles, the service traction control notice came on. After I arrived home, I checked the brake pedal, and discovered that if I raised the pedal with my toe, the brake light went off properly. This is also apparently what caused the cruise control to not function properly. When I returned the van, the clerk (I believe his name was Jeff), attempted to charge me $902.21 instead of the $642.47 that I should have been charged per my rental contract. When I objected, he stated that the contract is not a contract, and further said that I had not driven the van the 1250 miles allowed on the contract, and indicated that this was the reason that I was being charged additional money. I replied that it did not make sense that I would be charged additional money for not driving the van far enough. I also stated that he had misread the van mileage, and that I had, in fact, driven the van 1326 miles. He then returned to the van to reread the mileage, and then returned to his desk, and spent quite some time recalculating the charge. He did this without making any comment or statement whatsoever. He then gave me a corrected receipt indicating a charge of $642.47, and a refund of $259.74 of what he had previously charged. He asked me in a very hostile tone if I was satisfied with that. I initially indicated that I was not happy with that charge, as I was not aware at that moment that it was within $3.00 of what I believe I should have been charged, per my contract. He continued and amplified his hostile and abusive tone, sought to mimic me, and belittle me for being dissatisfied over a $3.00 difference. I told him that I was not dissatisfied, after reviewing the new charge computation. However, he said, "No! Here is your $3.00," taking it from the cash register. He continued to shout, and beli

The only issue with this location that they seem to be so busy that they have a hard time answering their phone.When a location is open for business, a customer should not be directed to voice mail.

This is the second time that I had to personally replace wiper blades in recent usage. Please have all U-Haul deals check wiper blades before renting out a vehicle.

Staff was very polite and friendly. No problems with the truck. They didn't have the size we had ordered, but we got a bigger truck for the same price which ended up being a blessing as the bigger truck had a ramp which made moving much easier.

The truck had dried mud in it and it was dirty in the back. They tried to charge me for the clean up. That is not fair to me. I have been renting from u haul since 1994. I've never had a dirty truck in all of my experience with u haul.
