I will warn people NOT to go there! Horrible customer service - employees were rude, condescending and dismissive. They were obviously more involved in the computer side of business. When I dropped vehicle well before closing I was told "why didn't you put in back with others? Now I'll have to move it. It won't be checked back in until tomorrow ". All of this with a smirk. The only thing I would complain about would be the wait time to get approved was lengthy and it was eating into my rental time. Renting was super easy. The location was closed but I had no problem getting the keys and going on my way.Nikie H.

This is only pick contactless pick up from what I could tell. We were not informed of this before showing up and had to go through and figure out the check out on the spot in the parking lot. I have no problem with the location if I would have been informed of this ahead of time. We would have also gone in and made additional purchases if this would have been a full store.Adam L.

I had difficulty getting the verification code sent to my phone and my email Both during pick up and drop off. during pick up, it took more than 15 minutes to get the verification code sent to my email even longer to have one sent to my phone, I even tried calling the 800 number and was on hold for about 25 to 30 minutes. even after getting a verification code still had trouble getting into the system. Even several hours later more codes were sent to my phone. we were at the location for 45 minutes before we were able to get the truck. Dropping the truck off-once again unable to get the verification code code sent to either my phone or my email. never did get a code sent to either one. I was on the phone for half an hour and never did speak to an actual human being. Tried both numbers that were listed to call for help. We were at the drop off location in the dark for an hour before we just put the key in the box took pictures of everything and left. My family members that were with me and I were extremely unhappy with the entire situation. I will never rent from U-Haul again.JoTasha T.

This was more of a commercial rental than a personal one. I didn't personally return the truck which I appreciate the consideration because I live 40 miles away, and didn't unload the truck myself. I was informed that they actually pressure washed the bed out and yet were charged $28. for cleaning fees. I have never had to pay a cleaning fee and have rented trucks many, many times before.Rodger D.

Truck ate alot of gas, there was a "drive green function but went below 3 of 7 bars with the slightest push of the pedel, i drove less then 40 miles and had to out 40$ in gas plus the 70+ i spent on the rental..Cody C.
There were only 15 and 20 foot vans at this location and we weren't looking to spend so much. We weren't aware of the amount of fees associated with it and believe it was too expensive for what we were using it for.Sierra H.

Why was I charged for a cleaning fee. The truck was was as clean or cleaner when I returned it. This is unacceptable Please respondArt Q.
First promised a truck, was told one would be brought to a location close to me, then in order to move 5 miles, I had to drive an extra 50 to get the truck, and pay for mileage I didn't need, and when I was told my rental would be 99$, I had to pay 160$, not too happy, and wouldn't recommend to anyone.Aaron H.

Your "self Check In" process is a complete joke that does not work. If you're going to need an "additional contact" in order to rent a truck, you should include that information when confirming the reservation, It took me over an hour, and I had to go to two locations. I lost 30 minutes of my paid time with moving helpers, for which I expect to be reimbursed by U-Haul for your failure to be prepared. I will be contacting the Better Business Bureau.Ty O.

I had a 2 and a half hour issue at a different location in lacey, WA. Customer service moved my pick up to Tummwater. Location is fine and the proceedure is easy if the mobile app works.Karleen P.

We were only able to keep the truck four hours. I thought I rented it for a day for $29.95. Anyway when we brought the truck back the only person in the office had no idea how to check in the truck or what he should do. Couldn't even lol something up on a computer. We asked him to write down the mileage with us and check the truck to be sure no damage. Poor servicerhonda J.

We returned the vehicle almost 2 days early and with more gas then we took the vehicle. We gave the destination, Susanville Ca to Olympia Wa. We were charged for 21.8 miles over expected miles. It wasn't much, but it feels rude to be charged more then what they contracted. They had the vehicle earlier and with more gas. Moving is stressful enough and then have a petty bill is not the most positive experience, it actually creates a bitter feeling. With 30 years in the military, we have never had this issue. If you charge this petty fee then what about refunding the $40 daily rate for bring it back early? Along with the $14 safe move insureance?? I repeat: a petty charge creates a bitter feeling.Todd L.

I was going to travel more than 40 hours and about 2100 miles. I asked for a new, clean and reliable uhaul van and that was exactly what they got me, in a very short notice. The uHaul van did not even flinch during the travel. Only issue I had was that not all gas station nozzles would not work correctly with the uHaul, so sometimes I had to find other gas stations within the distance to get gas.
