Make sure that if a customer chooses mobile app that you actually set it up for mobile app. Especially when you open 30 minutes after the customer needs the vehicle. And then you arrive 10 minutes late and you’re completely rude!

I only used the truck for 5 hours and returned it to the location. I made sure that the truck was cleaner than when I picked it up and made sure that it was fueled to where it was when I got it. It was on a holiday Sunday so I returned the key to the lock box. I received a call two days later from someone at Ihaul wanting to know if I still had the truck. Not happy and still don't know how much they will charge me because the amount that I was told is not the amount on the estimate.

The young man that helped me was very nice and polite. However, the customer service could improve. Instead of handing a key to customer and point to other end of building for me to go pickup truck. They should bring it up front and do walk around so I am not charged for any previous damage. Then, the rep should do a quick summary of how key works, where heat, wipers, radio, gas tank and etc. I had injured my knee so I asked rep to bring van to me and he was very nice about it. Then he handed me the key and walked away. I had to lower myself down , go back in to ask how do I turn the vehicle on ? He said , oh , the key is kind of weird. Would have been good to know that up front. When I returned vehicle 2 hours later, I asked him to allow me to make a few suggestions. Again, he was nice about it, but his response was surprising when I suggested he do a few moments of education rather than just hand off key for client to figure it out on their own with a vehicle they have never driven. He said, I don’t know all about these trucks and I don’t want to insult anyone. I said I Don’t think people would feel that way. He said , I would and add I would B my mother. I said, my parents had businesses for years and customer service is B the greatest gift to a customer to develop a great experience and repeat customer. This young man was willing to help if asked and again, was very nice. I had a similar experience with Avis the week before except, he did a walk around with me. I think these folks need a standard training in the basics.

The outside was dirty (mud/dirt splatter)but I didn’t care the back was clean. The cab had a bag of cheezey poofs. Again didn’t bother me. Service was friendly and efficient.$29.99 is deceptive. After $1+ a mile and the $38 on gas was $188 just to drive 61 miles. But couldn’t of done it without you thank you.

The guy who assisted me was nice and helpful and made the process quick and easy. He informed me of an issue with the side mirror that had been swiveling. Explained all of the details and discussed the insurance package I had selected. He carried the supplies out to the truck for me. 5 stars!

It’s very hard to drop off after hours no pin to get in the gate no key drop off. We drove sat night and had to go home and come back Sunday morning. The fact that we had to do that put us over the miles and had to pay extra money. This location is not set up for after hour drop off.

1) It literally took ONE WHOLE HOUR on the phone to get the truck checked out!!! While the intention of contactless pick-up might be worthwhile, the UHAUL system is in DIRE NEED of major OVERHAUL ! The people I spoke with on phone (360-356-1577) were very helpful & patient with me, the last one staying on the line & walking me thru the process. Totally ridiculous while my mover friends WAITED (& wasted an hour of their Saturday morning) for the process to get completed. 2) The handtruck I ordered was NOT in the back of the truck. Because no one at the office, could not rectify the issue. 3) The gas tank was on EMPTY - luckily there's a gas station across the road ! 4) The original truck reservation online went smoothly, however the day before the move, I was notified the truck was not being returned by the original renter & I'd need to pick up the truck at different place. This was not a problem, but I was charged for the additional distance needed to pick up the final truck! Why was I charged extra when not my fault the pick-up site was switched. Moving day is expensive enough! In addition to all of this, another separate rental account was started by someone & the original account was not canceled.... so I had TWO accounts/charges to my name. It took awhile (night before move) but eventually the mess-up was corrected by very helpful reservation folks at 360-356-1577.

Returning the equipment outside of business hours requires use of location services. Normally this is not an issue and my location is always on. However the uhaul website was having issues or something and it took a longtime to verify location. I was getting worried because at first it wasn’t going through and that would mean even though I had the truck back, it wasn’t technically returned. I don’t know what happens then but probly a large bill. Everything else, the company, the people, the equipment and the price is awesome. I will still rent from uhaul and I will make sure to consider this in the future. Thanks Uhaul!

The customer service was awful. Employee had no idea what he was doing. He had to call the manager twice and then the district manager twice. It took my employee 30 minutes with no one else in line to rent said vehicle. This cost me time and money. The employee was too busy taking about politics and the war in Russia. Simply unprofessional and not okay.

It was time consuming to have to give 2 reference ph#'s & go through all the extra steps to pick up the truck. We gave tons of info to rent online including the cc # etc. At that time it should of been asked for 2 addtl ph#s we were in a hurry to get back with the truck as we had to drive 40mnts out of our way to get the truck as I rented a 20ft & day before was i formed only a 15ft avail but 40mnts south of our home. That cost us an hour+ so incredibly frustrating

I had a difficult time finding the location because there was not a Uhaul sign facing the Main street. When I walked in, there were three guys in casual conversation across the room, who seemed inconvenienced that I was there.

Very convenient way to rent. I walked to the location and waited for my contact to be verified. I waited for quite sometime, she was at work. When booking online it should be clear that the contact needs to be contacted, prior to getting the keys. I would have chosen a person that was available. Other than that it was a smooth process.

I am very disappointed in the gas gauge calculator. I always get ripped off because it is confusing. I wish you checked them out full and returned them full. It would be so much simpler. I lost $30 of gas and was not happy. Makes me hate renting Uhauls.

I will warn people NOT to go there! Horrible customer service - employees were rude, condescending and dismissive. They were obviously more involved in the computer side of business. When I dropped vehicle well before closing I was told "why didn't you put in back with others? Now I'll have to move it. It won't be checked back in until tomorrow ". All of this with a smirk. But no worries I will NEVER go there again.
