I went to pick up a truck expecting to pay a little over the advertised $19.95 price. By the time I checked out, with the deposit and hold placed on my account I was well over $150.00. Next time I think I'll just go to the local Menards and get a truck for $30. The cashier was nice, but i had to do all the work. I had to inspect the truck myself, take all the pictures, check the gas, and then do the same when I returned it. Since I was the one doing everything I should have received a discount. Now I know how to use the Uhaul rental program just like the employees, except I got trained for free. For the amount of time it took to check myself in and out I feel like I should be compensated. When I returned the truck, there was a section on the website (intended for the employee to fill out) to adjust the rate, so I almost calculated a 50% discounted employee rate since they made me work there for the day.

Nicole TWithout asking me, the SafeMove insurance was added to my rental. No paperwork was given to me at time of dispatch and no signature was given or agreement acknowledged so this was not noticed until I returned the truck and went to pay. When I called the guy out on his dishonesty of adding the insurance without my consent and without even asking me if I wanted it he grinned as if he knew exactly what he did without saying anything. When I asked to have the insurance charge removed since I did not agree to it, he said he was unable to do so. I would avoid the BB Mary location in Menomonee Falls, WI at all costs as they clearly don’t run an honest business.

Jacob SIt wasn’t so much the location that was the issue; it was that the verification process to get the uhaul was ridiculous. Having uhaul call my husband’s employer, a number that we had to provide during the mobile check in process, is ridiculous. It took 20 minutes to finish the mobile check in process. The uhaul had hardly any gas in it, was covered in snow and ice so we had to find a scraper and scrape it off and even worse, the uhaul had a leak inside so our belongings got wet
Elise WIt took an hour for them to get us on the road & that's with us talking to a uhaul rep where we did most of the work. Then there was no dolly that I had reserved. The gentleman at the gas station didn't even know what a dolly was. Definitely will not use again
Pamela FFor some reason, they were unable to locate our reservation and had to wait for the location manager to come clear the issue. We arrived at 8:55am and they were unable to provide the key until 10:15am. We returned the truck late because of the delay in departing. We were charged an extra $30 for insurance we did not request. This was a frustrating experience.

martin zThis was a service station and not really a U-Haul rental location. It was not very clear that this was where I was to pick up the truck. If I had not known that the trucks were there, I might have missed it altogether. The staff also was untrained at the time of my pickup, so my initial pickup time was delayed by 30 minutes while he had reached out to his associate via phone cam to get instructions on how to process my pickup. Overall, I think this location is minimally sufficient, but could do with a lot more advertising for the U-Haul business if they intend to continue doing this, and more training of staff on how to handle the rentals.
Jeffrey STell the owner that he should clear the parking lot, I have to clean their parking lot to take out the truck from their parking, it took 1 hour. And at the end of the night it was the same like truck got stuck in parking entrance because they didn’t clean the lot. Can’t they clean the lot in whole day? The guy who was working, he is just fighting with me. It was horrible experience.

JOANNE SI had a rental for a 15 foot truck at 8am. I showed up at 8am and the person working said they couldn't give me the truck because in his system it didn't show it had been returned. He aldready had my reservation #, my phone #, a picture of my ID, and all applicable rental info. He and I spent the next hour going back and forth on why he can't vs why he should give me the truck. After an hour of this he decided to go to the truck and record the mileage and fuel level. He could have done this from the start and I would have gotten it right away but he didn't want to because it was cold out. Complete waste of my time.

SCHNEIDER JWhen I went to go pick up the vehicle, he couldn’t find my confirmation, and when he did, it stated that it already and picked up even though I was there to pick it up he seem like he had no idea what was going on. I don’t know if this is new to the location, but there should be some extra training involved.
