U-HAUL doesn't keep up with maintaining there vehicles. The one I rented broke down didn't even get to drive it a day. Also they did not even make it right with me. I had to wait 6 hours before someone to fix it. U-HUAL needs I feel to make sure your Is customers are safe in your vehicles and well maintained after a drop off. My U Haul slipped gears on a road / hill that could have been bad. Please do better Thanks.

Bradley CThis was a towing and repair place that was not open so it required self-checkout and was very difficult. There was no one to get ahold of so it made things a bit more challenging.
Riley SI got lost finding the location, but the staff quickly helped me get directions. A good bunch to deal with. I would use again.

Michael BStill waiting on a manager of the area to call me. The truck should have never been on the road . Front end alignment was way off had to keep the wheel turned left to go straight . As dusk started to fall I was informed by a motorist that I had a passenger headlight out (they should’ve seen this before they passed the vehicle off when they did the pre trip inspection) THEN when I’m getting ready to return the truck , the battery is completely dead! I had to contact customer service to get roadside assistance out. I asked with roadside assistance over an hour to get to me and I couldn’t return it when I wanted to , if I could return it around 11am the next day (was scheduled for a 8am return ) customer service said of course and moved me out to 11am. Once I returned it I was emailed my receipt and I was overcharged for ANOTHER day of renting since it was returned at 11 not 8am…. This has been by far the WORST experience for me renting a truck to move.. completely unacceptable ! From terrible equipment to being overcharged when the equipment didn’t want to work and it was returned late.

Danielle LOnly one person at location seemed to know anything about the Uhaul rentals. Fortunately the individual was there, even though he was not supposed to be. Don’t know what I would have done if he hadn’t been there. Location is not clean, is not organized and I would strongly dissuade someone from using the location.

Christian PThe truck was not full at rental yet the paperwork said it was. I had to put 6 gallons of fuel in the truck for a 26 mile rental, so with the price of gasoline this was a huge overcharge. I was also charged for one more mile than I drove - again, the paperwork was incorrect. This location appears to be dishonest, or perhaps it is a U-Haul scam.
Michael LGot the truck with 97 miles to empty and took it back with more gas said 143 miles to empty and was billed I have pictures of the dash of what it said as well

Angie TRespectfully they were available when I needed them and that great. With that said there was no one at the location due to staffing, had to give my information over the phone to a location in BG, and had to hook up the trailer myself and send a photo to show the connection to my vehicle. I have never used a trailer let alone use it "one way" but I would not recommend this location strictly because of lack of communication and assistance

ROCKIE FPick up was at 9. Store employee choose to go to different location in another town so no one was there to help. Online process took 20-25 minutes. After getting Dropbox code and keys, truck wouldn't start because parking lights left on. When called employee said he couldn't get someone there to jump truck until 45 minutes. Poor poor poor customer service!

There were trucks beside it a river beside it and a van in front luckily my husband drove truck before and I helped guide him across the sidewalk just missing the guide wire on one side and the van on the other!!! It was ridiculous!!! I feel like this was on purpose because we did not want to haul the trailer we were asked to but it would have been in our way and make our trip a lot harder!!!

Dennis TIt was clean but when I arrived @ my destination everything that was loaded in the back of the trailer was wet. Apparently a leak in the roof or around the back door.
JEFFREY RTruck has sticky residue on the floor by the center console and in the cup holders. There appeared to be ashes on the dash? Possibly from a cigarette, however the truck didn’t smell of them, likely due to there being no cloth interior for it to stick to. The engine serpentine belt and tensioner MUST be bad, because when hauling, with engine under load (accelerating) I had to listen to it squeal from Findlay OH, 15 hours south to Orlando Fl. Before returning it to the location in Winter Park. The front end needs to be aligned too, steering wheel is off center and you can see a difference in camber between the front wheels with the truck loaded and unloaded. This is gonna ruin the tires due to improper contact with the road. The box on the truck was full of leaves and dirt. Luckily i had no furniture or cloth items to haul. The trailer was great, did fine. Truck and trailer were returned to the Winter Park location in the same condition i received them in. Hopefully a technician there will service it better than whoever did in Findlay Ohio. If i had received it clean, i would’ve returned it clean. Frankly, disappointed i had to pay well over two grand to rent THAT vehicle. Wasn’t sure if it was gonna make it to florida but there was nothing i could do the day i picked it up because the Findlay Uhaul location employee was out with Covid and not on-site. The employee from Bowling Green had stopped by earlier in the week to set up the truck and trailer and leave the keys in a lock box outside. Which i was totally unaware of until i drove 45 north from Lima to get it because my local Uhaul didn’t have that truck and trailer available... All that just to find no one there and have to call the reservation number at Uhaul to figure out what was going on. I’m a mechanic, I’ve been in more than my fair share of gross shitbox cars, but for charging more than two thousand dollars? Do better Uhual, do better.

Chandler DBoth locations were acceptable. Not having a truck at the committed location was the problem. And not finding out until late Saturday that it would even be available Sunday even though previously committed was very poor.

BILLY DBetter corporate (internal) communication. Harold had all kinds of issues while using U Haul's internal computer. He was very patient with his phone/computer, while he was trying to get through the internal communication system.

Seth BI had an appointment to pick up a trailer and when I got there the guy in charge did not know how to do the paperwork. He did help me do it on my phone. The regular guy was not there-he had a Dr appointment. Finally another guy showed up and did paperwork and got me on my way quickly.
WILLIAM BI was disappointed that the local uhaul facility I wanted to rent from did not have what I wanted. I had to settle for one in Findlay.
