With the first rental not available had to go to a different rental and it was way too big have a scared to drive but the experience was fine, but I also don’t like the overall pricing is too expensive to move anymore

I wish I had not been shifted around to three different locations in order to rent a truck … but … all is well that ends well. The BP Food Mart location could not have been a better situation.

caleaf bdid not give me the appliance cart, furniture pads, or other accessories. Only got a utility cart. Charged me for the furniture pads like they were missing. I never received them and marked it all on my inspection. Contract #74528557 Very poor experience.

Despite my clarification that I needed a mileage limit of 30 miles, he charged an excessive deposit, emphasizing his ownership and insisting on doing as he pleased. This conduct seems to be a recurring issue. Before picking up the reservation, I noticed that the previous renter had a similar experience, expressing dissatisfaction as she was overcharged by him.
Angela SOnly thing I found wrong with the truck it didn’t have a ramp to roll my stuff inside. I had to lift everything such as my refrigerator and dresser to put inside.

Artis SWhen I need to use rent a vehicle from uhaul, I try my best to avoid going to 1405 n saint augustine . This place has ugly attitude and no real customer service. That’s why I like the no human contact mobile pick up option. But sadly that day it was the only one in my area available so I had no choice.

I did mobile pickup, but mobile pick up had a “glitch” as said by a customer service representative when I put in my card information my card’s expiration date kept coming up from. This took an hour to fix. The truck I rented did not have working air conditioning. The location was fine. The mobile pickup experience was terrible.
Kersha OStaff was friendly and easy to work with. Location was convenient to the interstate and parking lot well lighted. Especially appreciated since we had to return the truck early morning before daylight.

Cade BNot a dedicated rental site; rental took second place to scratch tickets and beer sales. The paperless rental was good, but I would rather show hard copies than my phone to law enforcement in the event of an accident or traffic stop.

Takisha MExcellent customer service. Easy drop-off, we did not have to try to back up. They even came out to help lift the trailer off the hitch. VERY IMPORTANT, the were open on Sunday until 9 pm. One of the few that works on Sunday.
Wayne PThe truck was not ready when picking up. The prior customer had not properly returned the truck per the cashier at the store. The store needs to be more on top of processing returns and ensuring equipment is ready to rent, especially if there is an upcoming rental. Also, the back of the truck was not clean, very dirty with trash. I had to sweep out the truck before I could even get started. Pickup took over 45 minutes.
TYLER SI had to drive far away to get 15’ truck after Uhaul switched me to a 26’ truck. I think would be helpful to have a lot of extra trucks available in Tallahassee for move out weekends! Uhaul did give me discount, extra day and extra miles so it all worked out. I enjoyed having an almost new truck
Georgia AHad my reservation changed to 4 different locations. My reservation was for a pickup truck that was changed to a van. My reservation was for 0930 I wasn't able pickup the vehicle until 2pm. I was only able to keep the vehicle for 4 hours My reservation was for 8.

Alto LI informed the lady at this location that helped me with the dispatch information before picking up the truck that I was dropping the truck off in Tallahassee FL where I was moving to. She and her mom both told me this would be ok. Unfortunately when I agent to drop the truck off at Uhaul in Tallahassee FL they informed me that nothing had been changed in the system, it was still set up as an in-town rental, and they refused to accept the truck. I had to spend almost 45 minutes on the phone work Uhaul trying to sort this out and was told because they couldn't verify this information being that Frank's Creek Storage LLC was closed on Sunday I would be charged a $200 destination fee and Uhaul would submit a claim to have the fee reversed pending verification with Frank's Creek Storage LLC. After this call I was finally able to get the Tallahassee location to accept the truck. I called and spoke with the same young lady Monday and she said she would call Uhaul and take care of this. I then noticed that Uhaul had already emailed me (Daniel Bridges, Area Field Manager) to tell me that the reservation was made online as an in town reservation and should have been changed during dispatch and as a result he cannot authorize a deletion of the $200 fee! Needless to say both the dealer and Uhaul showed me that they believe in ignoring customer's requests, blaming the customer for it, and stealing money from the customer. I did not recommend Uhaul or any of it's authorized dealers and will tell everyone I know about this horror show of an experience. It's sad to see "business people" tanking advantage of their customers. I also rented a tow dolly with the truck and Uhaul counted this drop off in Tallahassee FL against me as well although this was all agreed upon with both locations before I left with any equipment. Not to mention my original reservation was for 9am Saturday morning to pick both pieces of equipment up at location in Valdosta- American Self storage but Uhaul called me Saturday morning to let me know that wasn't happening and that I had to pick the equipment up from 2 different locations- supposedly at 10 am but I had to wait until almost 11am for the truck pickup in Hahira ga then go to Valdosta to pick up the dolly. This whole experience was horrible and very unprofessional.

I returned it the next day and a different agent inspected the uhaul and I was in and out in 10 minutes. Very efficient and very helpful!!!!!!!!!!!!
Anna CConsider accommodation for the price on those with a long distance to travel. I basically moved majority of my stuff alone and drove from Valdosta, Ga to Chicago, IL. I couldn't afford to pay help and work around schedules.
DEROCCIUS HOver charged for vehicle when returned on the day it was scheduled. Vehicle had no a/c in it at all.
Jamar WAbsolutely unprofessional place with no staff. The same clerk was working UHaul and front desk of convenience store. Small dirty location. Clerk kept picking his teeth and needless to say I did not want to be near him with COVID out there. Bad!

TRINA WStop charging $60 + to our credit cards when we drop off the car tows. The charge is still on our card a week later.
CRAIG ALady was not informative and did not listen to me. She charges me an extra day even though I had proof I had to go back and get car tow. She also added $7 for gas. That’s not enough to charge me for. This store is nasty and very cluttered.
RICHARD SThis location was friendly. The equipment was clean. Uhaul on the other hand, needs to do better. What I reserved was not at the location. They sent me all over town and still did not provide exactly what I reserved. Glad the move is over.
