Same as above but the drop off location was closed at the time of drop off . We know the people and trust them with our cars so I’m sure there would have been no issue had they been there
John AUhaul needed a jump and was out of gas as well when I got there!!
Mark DWe put more gas in the van than what was there when we got the van and we were still forced to pay $20 extra in gas on the bill after we filled the tank. We drove the van literally 10 or 15 miles and we were way over charged. Never again

Randall CNew 26' truck broke down in Texas. Would not start after gasing up. Had to be towed after waiting 3.5 hours and had to stay over night at a Days Inn in Baytown, TX (to be reinbursed later) I had to tranfer all articles to another 26' truick by myself. Spent the whole day at uhaul unloading/reloading. Will talk about compensation (later).

JAMIE STruck cab was covered in some type of oil and it ruined my clothing from just siting in it. It was disgusting and this is the first time I have had a problem with uhaul and I'm honestly thinking about never using you again for this alone. I now have ruined clothing and the truck smelled like BO and cigarette smoke. It's horrible that I had to clean the truck myself before I could use it to drive for my move! Very dissatisfied and don't know if I will use uhaul again
Justin HWhen i received the trailer, there were 3 marker lights out on the right side. Maintenance should have been done prior to pick up.

Ronald MNot a problem at the site, but a problem with UHaul specifically. The equipment I rented was to be picked up near our home in Cranberry TWP, but when I called the pickup location was changed to 25 miles farther from my house! This I consider to be very poor service!

Shawn WThis location is a messy garage with cars and rental trucks crammed everywhere. The office is old, cluttered, and messy. The people were friendly and helpful. The truck was clean inside but covered with bugs outside. Should the trucks be washed before being rented?
Nelson TBusiness owner unable to print any information due to a printer problem, so we left there with only a key and absolutely no paperwork. He said we would be able to get info. printed at drop-off location. (Their printer was down also!)

WILLIAM YTrailer lights did not work and they could not repair. Send me to another location for repair and they got them working, however, their repair failed shortly thereafter and when I discovered, I was too far from that facility and it was impractical to return. I traveled approximately 800 miles without trailer lights. Very concerning and disappointing.
David CThis is the 3rd time I have rented from Uhaul and the third time that I have had to travel an hour to pick up the truck from the location that I originally scheduled for. I wanted to pick the truck up in Pleasant Hills. If I wanted to travel to Aliquippa to pick it up, that is where I would have scheduled it. I was also not informed that I could have extra miles at no additional charge. i didn have an additional mileage charge at the end. Very frustrating.
John PHad ordered 2 dozen blankets with my rental, and none were available. Whay was I not notified prior to pick up if none would be available, vs not knowing to the last minute, and having to run around at the last minute for alternate arrnagements??
WILLIAM GThis comment is not for the pick up location, it is with the local 800 operator Donna for western PA. The operator gave me the wrong address as I read it back to her when she gave it to me. When I called again she basically told me I was lying. I tried to call the pick up place 5 times, left 1 message and Donna again felt I lied when I told her that. Basically, she was combative and had very very poor customer service. The pick up experience was saved by the local Uhaul rep (male) who called me and gave me directions on the phone to the pick up location and the professionalism of the representative at the pick up location. I recommand the local 800 operator is reassigned to a non customer service position, she is not qualified to be in the position she is in.
JOHN DAt both locations the people were nice. But when you contact the national number, you are lied to. u-haul is a total hassel and a weak excuse for truck rentals. Just dodn't do it you'll be sorry as we were!
faye gInterior of truck was muddy; ashtray was full; merchant hand-corrected the fuel reading on my copy of the contract (it was really 1/4 tank, but the orig. contract was printed with full tank), but he did not change the original contract. I dropped off the truck with more fuel in it than when I picked it up, but was charged $122 for fuel.
DEAN Cthe guys that run the shop where i rented my truck informed me their uhaul system went down and didnt have some of their rentals. the handle to close the door on the drivers side was broken off and laying on the floor. i had to grap the plastic on the side of the door to shut it. there was also no ramp to load my furniture which made it very difficult to get it in and out of the truck
