There was a closer location to my residence...why I was not given that location in Corpus Christi, I do not know. It cost me $35 to take a Uber to my residence from this location, when I could've dropped truck off 2 blocks away at a closer location.
SERGIO OThe was very little customer service. They were not real helpful during the pickup process or the drop off process. I had requested another location for my preferred pickup location but Uhaul did not provide them with the equipment I requested.

Lyndon WWe arrived on time to ensure all paperwork and inspections would be completed so we could maintain our schedule but were delayed because we had to wait on the store owner to get dressed and arrive at the store. That shortened our 24 hr rental window. Upon our return, we were less than 1 hour late and the owner threatened to charge us with another day's rental fee. He continued to berate us using profanity in a loud, yelling voice. Incredibly disrespectful to us and other customers within the area. We will never be back to rent from that location and it has seriously hurt U-Haul's reputation with us.
Curtis JDid not help unhitch the trailer. Expected me to back it in behind the store on gravel/dirt. He did not complete the return in the computer. I got an email from U-Haul a week latter asking why I had not returned the trailer. Get a paper receipt before you leave! It has been 4 weeks and U-Haul just confirmed they have the trailer (no apology for messing up the paperwork).
