I had such a bad experience here. I can't even begin to tell you. I reported this already to Uhaul corporate this morning and an Area Sales Manager will be calling me back. Reference id: 2872034 They were rude and knocked on my door while in my car at 8:45am and asked what I was doing on property. Then when I came inside they were sour pus faces and weren't even happy for my business during a pandemic. The man (husband) said I was late, technically yes, by 15 minutes, but he had a whole parking lot full of Uhaul's just sitting there. Then he was pointing his fingers in my face and telling me to go to another rental location (trust me, i would have loved to), but I was on a tight schedule w my movers. Then he threatened to call the cops on me. So I left l, took the Uhaul (the wife), acted like it was too much trouble to drive the uhaul out of a very tight parking spot. I came back later at 6pm and dropped it off the same way I got it. Clean, with a full tank of gas. The other man is sexist and rude and asked me how I wanted to take care of the gas. I said, « take care of the gas » it's already on full. He then went behind my back, without my authorization and charged my CC a $36 cleaning fee for the gas that wasn't topped off. This place needs a mystery shopper. It is awful. My husband is a long haul driver and we rent with Penske, Budget and Uhaul in the past, and I think bc this place is a « lease » they act like garbage to their customers. I am literally on the verge of a breakdown bc I had a very stressful day moving. Please do something about this place. They also ask for a receipt for gas when returning and lure you into getting gas at their gas station. After all they are only a gas station. Thank you! P.S. There was no parking for cars, when I signing in online it should state this— unfortunately I drove myself because at a previous location I was able to park my vehicle. Since I was not dropped off I could not finish the transaction until I made arrangements for drop off. Also counter service person told me to return car at 4:30PM when I'm fact the paperwork said 3:30PM Since was charged an extra day. (Yes I know this was my bad for not reviewing contract) (which I actually did, but more to look at starting mileage).

Visor needed to be fixed and key ignition needs to be fixed (had to jiggle it to turn on). Facility was convenient and sales person- Katy was excellent.

This was an unpleasant experience from the start. No on-site parking allowed. Rented a truck for 4 hours and returned in 2.5 hrs. Failed to disclose that there would be a after hours charge since they closed earlier than my rental time. I realize buyer beware but you will get better service at another location.

I was scheduled for 7:30pm pickup and then i was told to pick up @ 4:30pm. driven 9 miles and uhual employees working in gas station put in $7 gas to fill up the truck. its like 3gallons of gas for 9 miles. even though the nozzle clicked he pushed in extra gas.

Employees were relatively friendly and offered to be helpful but were not wearing masks or gloves. When I said I didn't want to go in the office and prefer using the so-called "non-contact app," the response I received from the morning worker was, "But we are clean here." Yikes. Upon return in the early evening I had to strongly suggest the employee put on a mask. It's OK if they are not concerned about their own health, but total disregard for customer's health is unacceptable. Unlikely to return to this site.

There was a lot of debris in the truck bay and the cabin was gross- black sticky stuff. In the cup holder area. I had to sweep out the bay at the drop off location because the Station manager was going to assess me a fee. He provided me a broom and waited for me to sweep it out. A bit degrading , and frankly in this time of virus spread, no one should be sharing brooms at a gas station. I'm sure the truck was not wiped down or sanitized before I got it. None of the debris was mine, but he insisted I sweep it out. Not totally his fault- the rental place in Delaware didn't do their job, but I didnt appreciate the attitude. I had already swept out the debris when I unloaded the truck at my house, but I guess I didn't do a good enough job for the gulf station.

I've used this location in the past and had a good experience. This would have been a good experience as well until I was returning the vehicle. There was particleboard debris in the back of the van, nothing I transported in the van was made of particleboard. I swept the back after brought to my attention. The gas station attendant was not satisfied with my sweeping and was rude, aggressive, and actually cursed at me. I felt threatened and will never go back to this location.

Make the website and check in easier. I couldn't log in or check in at the location. The customer service rep I spoke to was helpful, but that was really frustrating. The actual bill at the dropoff location ended up being $20 more than what was charged at pickup. I was not informed that it was only a "hold".

My original reservation was with the Aamco Station in Hazlet. I gave them all my information over the phone and was told they would have a 15' truck for me. I then received a phone call from B&G Gulf station the day before I was supposed to pu my truck stating that they had my rental. I was never notified from the previous rental place that he didn't have the truck or that he was forwarded my info to another rental place. This was totally unprofessional. I do not drive and had to depend on Uber/Lyft to take me to another destination which cost me more for the trip.

This was my second time renting a U-Haul from them, and both times were good experiences. They are friendly and helpful. I would recommend them to anyone needing to rent a U-Haul.

The customer service wasn't warm In the office but they were nice on the phone. I think next time I'll shop around more for truck prIces. I don't remember paying by the mile the last time I rented from u haul. Perhaps that's a new industry thing but it gets expensive

Make sure the person checking truck in can read the gas gauge. Argued with me it wasnt 3/4 tank, when it was in fact over 3/4. After a few mins he realized he read it wrong multiple times.

Agent was unfriendly and rude ,rental was till 4:00pm She called at 3:00 and again at 3:30 and yet again at 3:45 said she had someone waiting for an hour . That person came early not my problem or they booked it wrong. Tried to change to different location for pick up 1/2 mile away from my location but sent me there 5 miles away, you got an extra 10 bucks out of me. Thanks

When I arrived for pickup, a customer was already there and taking forever, changing her mind, asking questions. Kudos to the attendant, who very politely asked her to wait while my 5-min paperwork was handled. Not his problem, but I appreciated his diplomatic path to efficiency.

They met me as I backed in. Checked the truck out, and all paperwork finished in a couple minutes. They were very friendly, and very efficient.

I got charge up font $286 and after returning the truck anther $431. All together $717. I rented tuck on Saturday and returned it on Saturday and today Wednesday i had to call them to dispute it the 286 charge. Fell like if i didn't call would never get my money back. Why didn't you charge me the difference instead charging full 431??? Not to mention the price is a rip off, considering it was one day rental. As per conversation with costumer service,in the future I will be using someone else's services.
