I’ve rented a lot of uhauls through out my life with business needs and personal needs, this was by far the best U-Haul experience I’ve ever had, proffesional, units were clean and well kept, and the service was great.

Kylie BWhen I got to the U-Haul place the lady went and looked at the gas and said it was at 3/4 and then said well a little under 3/4 or a tank so I filled it up to where I received the gas tank at and when I went to return it after just getting gas the person in there said that it was at a 3/4 of a tank of gas when I left. I explained to him what the lady said and wanted him to show me the picture he said she took before leaving. He then couldn’t find the picture and so I just went and put about 10 more dollars into the tank because I didn’t want to get extra charged. I was a little upset with him because of this issue because I had filled it up at where it was when receiving the truck.
Jason GI feel I was GROSLEY over charged on milage. I was told during the week milage was .79, and Fri thru Sun was 1.00. I was charged charged 1.00 per mile period. When I enquired about the uhaul on day one I was told my total for a week would be approximately $625 to $750 and no more. But ended being charged way over $1000. I'll never use uhaul again since this is the third time I used them, and the third time I was lied to by the representative.

Ryan HDrop off went very well. However, I want U-haul to know that my reservations--made 10-14 days before my rental date were not adhereed to. The person I spoke with at reservations said I could pick up at 7 am from a location 1 mile from my storage. On 3-15, when Uhaul called me to confirm, the truck was to be picked up at a location 5 miles further away with a pickup time of 8:45. This was unacceptable. It cut into my very full day almost 2 hours and added miles to my trip. The person w/ U-haul on the phone helped me to get an earlier pick-up if I'd use the app. and change to a 15-foot truck (I had reserved a 20-ft). I agreed. The app did not work, and I had to go into Woodward Merchantile anyway. I left for my storage unit approx 2 hours after my preferred pic-up time. In all, Uhaul cost me a 2-hour delay in my day. I arrived at my destination at 5 pm with JUST enough sunlight to unload. I wish things had been different and that U-haul could have honored my original reservation. Instead, I made several calls in the 10 days preceeding the pick-up date to repeatedly try to get things righted. They never really were. The 2 locations, the people were excellent. Kind, quick to act. But the actual service from the company lacks ANY sense of professionalism. Will be checking into Budget and any other options for the big move in a few weeks.

Debbie SThis was a one way rental from Lenexa, Kansas to Chanute, Kansas. I booked with the app and there was no option for returns to Chanute, Kansas, despite there being uHaul trucks on display in Chanute. I was redirected to Thayer, Kansas, which is a 20 minute drive.

Jimmie DTeach representatives to be able to credit the returned products. She made me pay over the amount I was told over the phone due to no other way to close the account and was told I had to contact the pickup state. That should not be the job of the customer. She tried to get a refund for my boxes but did not know how and could not charge me for the amount I was told for a 4 hour extension I was charged an additional day on the truck and trailer. Which upon reserving was a "special pricing" to return to a location that I had to route through a tiny town on gravel roads due to construction from where I wanted to drop off. Overall I would rate my experience in a 1 to 5 star experience 1 to 1½ stars only because the representative at the pickup location was excellent and the drop-off representative tried but seemed to not know how to do her job and over the phone customer service is absolutely horrible and misleading and outrate told me a cheaper price for an extended 4 hours. Nor did they tell me that I could return the utility trailer separately and not be charged. Will most definitely look for another way to haul my belongings when I need to move to my permanent location.

Tracy HThe trucks wheels were out of alignment. shocks were no good & wheels were worn down due to alignment. Bumpy ride and was very hard to steer & almost crashed several times. The truck would always pull to the right.

Tom WStore needs a U-Haul clock like other facilities. The boss lady, Tracy did an awesome job preparing for my departure. Overall I would like to see all fuel tanks at full, as it is annoying to stop and fuel up before getting started on your move. This might help reduce the moving stress to the next customer.

Jane ARefund me extra gas money required to fill tank up. The tank had been filled but had to travel way out of way to new drop off and with 6 to 8 miles per gallon, had to put more gas in!!! Improve customer service support for customers. The only helpful person was 1st person I spoke to at closed location who redirected me to Thater, Kansas. She felt my pain. No one else did nor did they care.
